Xia Tian was still smiling as he looked at the punks. Earlier on, he had read their conversation from afar so he was aware of what their true intention was. Nevertheless, with him around, he would not let them do anything with Lin Bingbing.

“You b*stard, who are you? We’re all here to have fun, you’d better let this chick dance with us or I won’t go easy on you.” Soon enough, the punks had surrounded Xia Tian.

“How about you ask your mom out to have some fun with me instead?” Xia Tian did not hold back at all.

“Motherf*cking *sshole, I’m warning you. I’m not a friendly person.” One of them glared at Xia Tian furiously. Since they were here to put Lin Bingbing to the test, they were not going to let Xia Tian ruin their plan.

“Change it then.” Xia Tian replied.

“F*ck, you’re out for trouble aren’t you? Brothers, beat him up!” Instantly, a few punks launched kicks in Xia Tian’s direction. As everyone else on the dance floor was immersed in their dancing, nobody was aware of what had transpired.

Subsequently, Xia Tian was seen pulling Lin Bingbing closer to him with his left arm, then sidestepping the gangsters’ attacks. With his movements as light as a feather, he pressed two of his right fingers on their arms almost at lightspeed.

Screams were heard coming from the dance floor as the few punks laid in pain on the ground. Meanwhile, Xia Tian was already at the counter with Lin Bingbing.

“Give me two of those.” Since it was Xia Tian’s first time in a bar, he had no idea what to order. He simply pointed at whatever the person next to them was having. Lin Bingbing was still in his arms.

“Let me go.” Lin Bingbing immediately freed herself from Xia Tian, then asked, “Did you find anything?”

“I found Shadow.” Xia Tian looked at her as he replied. Honestly, he admired Quicksand’s capability. Although Shadow was just a Third-Tier Assassin, his disguise and observation skills were terrifying.

Right now, Shadow had just entered the bar, but his eyebrows and contours were already transformed. If it were not for his eyes that betrayed him, Xia Tian could not have identified him so easily.

At around 173 meters, he was not considered tall, and had a rather slim figure. Besides, he must have had hidden something in his mouth as his face looked exceptionally square.

“Really? Which one is he?” Just as Lin Bingbing was about to turn to look, Xia Tian pulled her back.

“Don’t turn around, he’s too alert.” Xia Tian took a glance around him casually without pausing at any point for long.

“Let’s notify Aunt Ye quickly,” came Lin Bingbing’s elated response. She did not expect to accomplish the task so easily though she felt like she had not contributed much.

Throughout the process, Xia Tian should have taken credit. All along, she viewed him as nothing more but a dirty b*stard so she was surprised that Xia Tian was so capable that he managed to locate Shadow.

“Don’t rush it, I’m really curious about who his target is.” Xia Tian remained still.

“But our task is to find him, we must obey the organization’s orders.” Lin Bingbing knew that being dutiful was the first thing she needed to do in order to enter the Special Task Force.

“You’re not the one who found him anyway, I’m the one who did. You didn’t actually accomplish your task.” Xia Tian responded plainly.

“You… What do you want?” Lin Bingbing looked at Xia Tian angrily, but knew that there was nothing she could do against him. After all, Xia Tian was right. It was he who had found their target.

“You’re really dumb, you’ll only get kicked out if you enter the Special Task Force. Think about it, what’s Quicksand like?” Xia Tian continued, “An assassin organization; one that doesn’t stop until they achieve their goal. As long as the mission isn’t canceled, their operations will be ceaseless. Even if we capture Shadow, what’s the point? You’ll only be able to accomplish your task, but not save the target. If we know his assassination target, we’ll be able to adopt some protective measures.”

“What if he escapes?” Although Lin Bingbing felt that Xia Tian made sense, she was worried that Shadow would flee.

“He won’t be able to escape.” Xia Tian smiled, and looked at Shadow from time to time. Shadow was being extremely cautious. He did not call his contact, and neither did he enter a private room. Instead, he sat beside Lin Bingbing at the counter.

“But…” Just as Lin Bingbing was about to speak, Xia Tian kissed her.

“Mmph!!”

“Don’t resist, he’s watching us.” Xia Tian whispered. Upon hearing her, Lin Bingbing stopped struggling, but tears were seen rolling down her cheeks. It was her first kiss, and it was stolen by Xia Tian just like that.

She had imagined her first kiss multiple times, yet never imagined that it would taken away like that.

Shadow took a look at Xia Tian and Lin Bingbing, then turned to look at other people in the bar when he thought that they were a couple.

After letting Lin Bingbing go, she stared at Xia Tian resentfully. A hint of rage could be seen in her eyes. That being said, Lin Bingbing kept quiet. Xia Tian knew very well that she must hate him to the bones now.

“Don’t turn around, he’s right behind you.” Without making a sound, Xia Tian mouthed those words to her.

Lin Bingbing felt as if she was in a spy movie. Not only was she afraid to turn around, she dared not take deep breaths as she was worried that Shadow would see through her. If that were to happen, their efforts would go to waste.

Up until then, she still found it inconceivable that they would actually encounter him here. In addition, Shadow was actually seated inches away from her now. Previously, she had pictured her encounter with Shadow many times, but when it really happened, she did not have the courage to turn and look.

“Sir, this is a package for you.”

“Thank you.”

A tiny package was placed in front of Shadow. Instead of leaving in a hurry, he snapped his fingers. “Give two Red Bats to the two customers next to me.”

“Stop acting, he discovered us.” Xia Tian shook his head helplessly.

“Discovered us? Did I just let you kiss me for nothing?” Lin Bingbing was annoyed at giving up her first kiss. Initially, she accepted it thinking it was necessary for them to hide their identities, but they were still discovered nonetheless.

“Look at you. A monkey would have known.” Xia Tian responded.

“Does that mean that you knew we were going to be exposed sooner or later?” Lin Bingbing’s face turned dark.

“Mmm.” Xia Tian did not deny it. He knew that Lin Bingbing would be discovered the moment she stepped into the bar; even those who are slightly experienced would be able to see through her icy character.

A person like her would never come to a rotten place like this.

“If you knew, why did you kiss me?” Lin Bingbing was now pinching Xia Tian’s thigh in dissatisfaction.

After taking a look at the two of them, Shadow smirked, then left.

“Let’s follow him.” Lin Bingbing stood up to run outside.

Xia Tian stood up with a smile, then looked at the men who were dashing toward them. As he moved, he performed the Unrestrained Cloud Sage Step perfectly, and instantly arrived in front of the people who were coming from the left, then quickly pressed his fingers on them.

“Looks like the background of this bar goes way deeper than I had imagined.” Xia Tian continued moving swiftly, and appeared in front of the people from the right. Due to the dimly lit lights, nobody was aware of what was going on.

Anyhow, Xia Tian’s movements were too quick. Once he took care of the people who appeared to obstruct them, he went over to Lin Bingbing.

“What were you doing?” As soon as Lin Bingbing went out of the bar, she lost Shadow. When she turned to look, Xia Tian disappeared as well. Just as she was going to look for Xia Tian, he showed up.

“Oh, I left something behind.” Xia Tian explained.

Since Shadow had already discovered their identities, the people that Xia Tian were up against earlier were summoned by Shadow before he left. In this bar, only the most valuable guests were able to enjoy the privilege of having men obstruct those who were trying to follow them.

Right before Shadow left, the two Red Bats ordered by him were the codes to notify the bar workers to hinder Xia Tian and Lin Bingbing.

“I lost him.” Lin Bingbing said in frustration.

“It’s very normal. If you can catch him, he won’t be Shadow.” Xia Tian nodded.

“Hey, what do you mean? I’m not done with you yet, do you know that that was my first kiss?” Lin Bingbing was furious. Now, she lost both her target and her first kiss.

“It was my first kiss too.” Xia Tian was unbothered. Even though he dated Wenya for a while, they never kissed.

“How can you compare your first kiss to mine? You’re ticking me off! Tell me, what should we do now?” Lin Bingbing was totally upset by the thought of losing her first kiss, but it was more important to find Shadow now.

“If it bothers you so much, I’ll let you kiss me back.” Xia Tian offered.

“What are you talking about? Your head is full of these crooked thoughts. I’m asking, what should we do about Shadow?” Lin Bingbing had a strong urge to kick Xia Tian to death.

“Oh, he can’t run away.” Xia Tian replied her seriously, “But if you really think that you’ve suffered a loss, you can kiss me back, I’ll take it.”

“I want to kill you.” Lin Bingbing struck Xia Tian with her foot.
