Chapter 356: Planning For The Upcoming Epic Battles

Bloom returned to the Swor town while burdened with many thoughts. "I need to book a room at the hotel," he decided not to meet anyone or speak even with his butler for now.

He knew his enemy was much more prepared and terrifying than what he initially thought. A fight for a fort in an area he never cared much about turned everything around like this.

Even his life was threatened at this moment.

And he didn't pass all these troubles and survive all these hardships to fall on the hand of someone like Mordon.

As he was a regular, Bloom booked a room easily and closed the door behind. He sat over a comfy seat while starting to think aloud.

"I have three battlegrounds to think about," he said to himself before adding, "the fort, this town, and my home. The three aren't situated close to each other. Losing any of them isn't an option for me. So how should I do it?"

It was the big question he had in mind. The most logical way of thinking would be by counting his forces, but he started with the opposite.

"My main enemies are Mordon with the grand army of the black camp on his side, Anna's uncles and their dirty mayors helping them, plus Dockrey and his filthy group of bastards..."

In theory his enemies could be grouped in three big camps. However facing each camp would be an exhausting task even for him.

Dockrey wasn't someone in the picture at all. However Bloom was sure his enemies would reach out to him. Such a dirty enemy wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of such a bad situation.

So Bloom decided to add him in his big list of enemies he had to deal with.

"My home is... a mess right now," he started thinking about his own territories. He took a deep breath before thinking about the fort he asked to be built.

"It won't do," he knew he was asking for the impossible! Building such an antique thing in such a modern world was a fantasy, especially if one asked for it to be done in less than ten days.

"As for here... The guild headquarter needed more time to be built," he knew his enemies would target the weak spot first in Swor town.

Ironically speaking, it was his guild headquarter. If he knew that, he wouldn't have built it so far away from the town itself.

But the town wasn't even that secure. "The only place I can trust here is my Regalis fort," he reached this conclusion. "And my enemy should know that as well. So, if I were him..."

He paused while trying his hardest to read the mind of his enemy. For the first time since this clash started, he realized his enemy was like a mystery to him.

All the things he knew, which were scarce to begin with, were mere sayings from the people around him.

But he couldn't say exactly how that man was. He didn't even know his weaknesses. "I... need to gather more intel about him," he muttered to himself before thinking about the other foes he had.

"Dockrey is the easiest one," he sneered when he thought about that impulsive spoiled kid. "All I need to do is just set up traps for him to lose his people around my mansion. He will take the bait and Antoan can take this part efficiently."

As one enemy could be taken care of, he started to think about the last one, Anna's uncles.

"Given these circumstances, I need to change my tactic towards them."

At first he planned to fortify himself here and defend against the incoming invasion. However at this moment he decided to do two things with top priority for him.

"First I need to decrease the power of my enemies, or eliminate them if possible," he said in a firm tone, "and secondly I have to find a way to make these ten days last as long as I can."

He already started acting upon his second plan since he was at the fort. The order, the weird order to any sane man, by showing off his growing strength was nothing but a clear message to his enemies.

He was getting ready as they were! Getting this fort would require far greater force than what they currently held.

This was his first thought about elongating this period. However as he sat now inside the secluded and quiet room of the hotel, more ideas started to pop up.

"Divide and conquer," he muttered when he thought about a way to make his main enemy camp weaker.

To elongate the limited time he had, he should work hard towards depriving his enemy from his strongest allies.

"Thinking that Anna's uncles and Dockrey are Mordon's main allies is a mistake," he said to himself while deeply considering this matter.

In his opinion, Mordon only saw them as his slaves. Weapons Mordon could use to threaten Bloom.

Even if he lost them, Mordon wouldn't stop trying to hit him at the three battlefields. So Bloom started to think about the main ally he knew and he could reach.

"Ashley!" he said in a firm tone. This sly witch and those behind her were the main allies of Mordon. However, contacting her directly wasn't wise.

"Plus I don't know what I should offer her," he felt helpless here, "even if I offered a piece of the cake, they wouldn't accept. They will mistake my stance as being weak."

This wasn't what he wanted to show. He wanted to tell everyone that he was strong, freakingly strong to contend with.

As he had no clue about this issue, he had to put it aside for now.

"Now let's talk about my points of strength," his tone seemed like a dead man just got revived. After all, thinking about his enemies was too stressful to begin with.

Yet he had to be absolutely honest with himself regarding his enemies. Bloom wasn't a kid who would commit such a naive and grave mistake of belittling his enemies.

In fact he paid his respect to his enemies by thinking truly and honestly about their power. Despite how dejectful this was to him, he did a great job in that regard.
