My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

Chapter 200: Underwater capture

As the darkness dissipated in Yun Jhin's vision he could finally see the underwater civilization and how advanced it was.

As Yun Jhin's gaze traveled through the water he could see houses of different sizes which were made from though corals which were held together by dead marine life bones and different materials that he couldn't identify immediately.

While he took a better look he realized that the buildings were glued together by some green paste that he recognized as draconic plankton.

The draconic plankton was very useful to temper the laws in the body of the God Realm experts at the lower stages but it was rather expensive and hard to find, Yun Jhin had some stashes of draconic plankton back at the sect and when he came back from this conquering expedition he wanted to use them, as in the God Realm there were levels for the stages, Yun Jhin was currently in the middle to later stages of the 1st stair of the God Realm.

Stages could be defined as stairs at the God Realm and normally a normal person at the God Realm would need a long time to transverse those stairs but Yun Jhin could skip that as long as he used the right ingredients because he had enough understanding of laws.

With enough of this plankton, he could surely skip the first stair and go directly to the 2nd or even 3rd!

And these maritime fools were using the ingredient as goddamn construction glue!

Yun Jhin shook his head at the waste of it, while the plankton was certainly very good at gluing things together if turned into a paste this was the crudest way of using it.

As he appeared above the buildings that used the plankton to keep them together he glanced at the people who lived inside through the hardened coral.

They looked like normal humans, they didn't have gills or anything like that, they were practically normal humans who could live underwater through a special cultivation technique.

Yun Jhin knew about such techniques so he wasn't surprised to see them being employed here, he took one or two glances before he stopped and decided to find the God Realm expert of this underwater civilization, the cities and villages spanned 94% of the planet and it was harder to find him because he was hiding around... if he didn't want to be found Yun Jhin couldn't really find him.

However, having an organization could also be an Achilles heel for God Realm experts as they would have to protect it, of course, selfish people like Yun Jhin existed so if their life was in peril they wouldn't care much about their organization, a prime example was the leader of the Deer Antlers sect who left the sect to Yun Jhin's mercy.

So to get him out of his hiding place Yun Jhin decided to go on a rampage in the most populated area that he could find.

His senses stretched covering the whole underwater place of the planet as he found the place populated with the most living beings.

He easily teleported there as he glanced down at his feet seeing pedestrians going to their jobs, there were quite a lot of civilians in this underwater society and not all of them were cultivators, while they had a cultivation base it was quite low as he could see earthly and heavenly realm people made the majority of the people walking below him.

With his stealth abilities and his current cultivation ability no one could see him even though he floated in what was considered bright daylight for these people here, everything was illuminated in this place by phosphorescent moss.

Yun Jhin's silhouette appeared in the 'sky' and it started to attract attention rather quickly as even though these people could be considered weaklings in the cultivation world they were still stronger than normal humans.

Yun Jhin ignored their words as he gave a glance towards the biggest palace that he could see in this metropolitan city and waved his hand, tens of thousands of people below him became pools of blood that dyed the whole waters red attracting the vicious marine life that lived nearby, the guards at the city gates were immediately overwhelmed by the massive amounts of maritime life that turned berserk at the immense amount of blood that dispersed into the water.

Yun Jhin watched as everything became a pandemonium below him and waited for the God Realm expert to present himself to stop what was happening and confront him.

Yun Jhin waited as the time passed seconds turned into minutes and minutes into tens of minutes, his face morphed into a disappointed expression as he looked around, the maritime life that he triggered to attack was almost finishing exterminating the normal people and the army of the palace was only reacting now, it seemed that their leadership left...

He sighed as he realized that the current generation was rather cowardly, or maybe his reputation was too resounding?

Suddenly he felt the water around him starting to turn cold as he became an ice sculpture, he just wanted to go down and make everyone submit when he was attacked!

Attacking when he let his guard down, this made Yun Jhin's sculpture shake as he broke the ice entrapping his body, his eyes were currently glittering as his face turned to the side seeing a humanoid seal, it immediately started to sweat the moment Yun Jhin's eyes met his.

From what Yun Jhin saw in this person his cultivation was around the 2nd stage of the God Realm but his nature seemed rather cowardly, the man averted his eyes the moment he met Yun Jhin's and he looked down, it even seemed as if he was ready to prostrate himself in front of Yun Jhin and give up.

Yun Jhin didn't let his guard down again which made the seal's eyes narrow as it tried to swim away only for its body to start freezing quickly, he was getting a taste of his own medicine!

Yun Jhin recognized the technique that was used on him because it was one of his own!

This planet was under Yun Jhin's feet in his previous life along with a wider area, every top 10 sects owned around 3,4% of the universe besides the dead bones sect, while the rest were either under grey areas or they were too bare in resources for the sects to care, here random sects would be established by rogue cultivators who wanted more rights or banished disciples from other sects.

Somehow it seemed that Yun Jhin's influence didn't disappear from this planet as the seal was using a technique he passed down to one of his personal disciples in his previous life if he remembered correctly his name was Guan Ming Duhan and he was also from the same race as the seal in front of him.

The moment he recognized the technique he remembered everything.

He peered at the seal's consciousness and decided to ask him directly:

"What's your name?"

The seal cowered as its body was getting frozen up to its waist before the freezing stopped, such fine control was something that the seal couldn't do without a high amount of concentration and he realized that his technique came from the man in front of him:

"My name is Guan Hang Muan... your highness please let this little one of this time for offending you, I didn't know you are from the sect that my ancestors served!"

Yun Jhin chuckled as he told him:

"I'm not only from that sect, I'm the patriarch of the sect!"

Guan Hang eye's bulged out as he looked at Yun Jhin up and down, he even wanted to bow and kowtow but his current bodily situation didn't let him.

Yun Jhin didn't remember that direct disciple of his being so cowardly, why was his descendant like this?

Seeing Yun Jhin's expression which was starting to turn into a mocking one made Guan Hang quite embarrassed, it wasn't his fault he was like this!

Yun Jhin didn't care about his life story as he put his hand forward to the immobilized Guan Hang which made his whole body tremble again, he wasn't sure what Yun Jhin was up to!

Yun Jhin smiled at him as he raised his hand until it was near his relatively cute seal face before he placed his palm over his face making him start howling in pain like thousands of ants were crawling inside his brain.

Yun Jhin's eyes turned cold as he looked at him, he took off his hand as the ice that immobilized him broke and he started to trash in the air as if he was getting possessed by something.

"I don't really care you are the descendant of my personal disciple, you attacked me so you have to suffer a bit don't you think?"

The seal-man just howled in pain as he couldn't hear what Yun Jhin said at all, the current brainwashing process was making sure he would forever be Yun Jhin's slave just like everyone else that went through it, albeit while there were some holes in the brainwashing they were so small that they couldn't be exploited easily.
