Heaven Destroyer

Chapter 168: Heavenly Hamster

The group didn't linger on that land of corpses and departed. Ayaan placed Akash on his horse while Rebecca rode her horse with the little girl, Ifre. Noor wasn't feeling well, so she was keen to leave the place. Wasting no time, the group proceeded on their journey.

The towering mountains and green woods covered the terrain. Though the place wasn't dangerous, some beasts would always roam stray of their pack, hoping to find food. So Ayaan still paid attention to the surroundings, to avoid any mishap. After constant riding for about six hours the group found a small waterfall. The waterfall produced the beautiful sound, akin to the music.

The trees surrounded this place. From a few hundred meters away it would be impossible to see any trace of the waterfall. The scenery was beautiful and compelling and peaceful. The group washed the sweat and dirt from their bodies with the cold and refreshing water.

It was already evening. The suns had changed their colour, turning yellow from crimson red. The group had departed before noon from the Shadow City and had the plan to stay in the Odoport City. However, it was already evening, so they camped at this place. Tomorrow when they would pass by the city they could replenish their provisions before entering the Barbara Mountain Range.

The group had their own tents, so they settled easily not far away from the waterfall. Though it was a little cold, it wasn't much for them, as cultivators their bodies had become much stronger. Even weak mages could easily spend one night at this place, much less strong cultivators whose bodies were a lot stronger than wizards. Not even Ifre and Akash found it uncomfortable. Ifre was a fire mage, while Akash trained very hard since he entered the pagoda and became much stronger. This much cold was nothing for him.

The suns disappeared, and the darkness spread in the world while the beautiful crescent moon hung on the sky, and its rays invaded the earth and covered the world as the wisp of hope covering the heart of the victim. The gust of wind blew and trees swung and danced and produced gigantic shadows and fell on the few tents in the jungle, covering them as the claws of the demon.

The waterfall's soothing noise echoed in the gloomy night. The water danced when the overhang fell on the plunge pool as if trying to crush the image of the moon crescent inside the water. However, no matter how many times it struck the water, the moon still didn't disappear.

Ayaan sat inside his tent in a lotus position and closed his eyes and ran the breathing technique inside his body. The breathing technique let him control the element of life and death inside his body. He could establish a connection with the World of Life and Death with it.

'Let me see if it will work.' Ayaan thought and controlled two elements inside his body and dragged them towards his right wrist on which carved the Red Pagoda.

All this time he had been trying to control the pagoda that appeared on his wrist out of nowhere. However, no matter what he tried, no matter what he did, everything failed. Therefore, he decided to use the element of life and death provided by the World of Life and Death.

His body had changed after he controlled the Holy Stone. His blood became green and black skulls danced inside his veins. That was nothing but the element of life and death. He could just purify the evil and malicious souls with his breathing technique, but he didn't know how to fight with these elements yet. So he could just practice and practice and wait for the time when he becomes powerful enough to control them.

Ayaan used his will to drive the two elements inside his body and that was his limit, he couldn't do anything more than that, he couldn't attack or kill with them.

"Buzzz!"

At this moment the pagoda on his wrist buzzed and trembled and produced a red light, as if it had encountered something frightening; something out of his league; something in front of which he could only submit like a defeated soldier.

Ayaan felt a burning sensation on his wrist and opened his eyes in surprise, the red pagoda glittered with a crimson murderous aura that took Ayaan by surprise. However, he didn't feel threatened by the pagoda, while he could feel a weird connection with it and a consciousness inside the pagoda. He couldn't help but feel a little disheartened. 'Am I going to fight with this pagoda now, like that so-called Heaven Destroyer Dog?' he sighed inside his heart.

He concentrated his attention on his wrist which slowly transformed, turning something completely different. Ayaan opened his eyes wide, when he saw what it was. "The heck!" he exclaimed.

The little guy who had fallen asleep stood up alertly and looked at Ayaan drowsily. "What happened, Big Brother?" he asked half asleep.

"Nope, nothing, go to sleep." Ayaan said, and Akash again closed his eyes and entered the dream world. Ayaan looked at the boy's innocent face and shook his head and turned his attention towards the thing on his wrist… err… it had walked on the palm right now.

Ayaan looked at the cute white hamster on his palm with crimson red eyes, while the hamster looked at Ayaan and stood on two legs and puffed its chest out. The little thing narrowed its eyes at Ayaan and said in a proud and arrogant tone, though it sounded the voice of an immature child. "I have to admit that I have become your servant, but don't think you can do whatever you want to me."

"What?" Ayaan looked at the cute act of the hamster and couldn't speak anything for some time.

"What, what? I am your servant." Said the hamster. "You should be proud of that, I am the great Heavenly Hamster. People like you used to serve me, but because of that, evil and cunning woman I became like this!" the little hamster gritted its teeth.

"How did you become my servant?" Ayaan took a deep breath and calmed himself down before asking. "I did nothing, so how did you become my servant?"

The hamster looked at Ayaan disdainfully. "You can't even control your own powers," it sighed exaggeratedly. "What a useless master I have stuck to this time."

"Hey, hey, who are you calling useless?" Ayaan immediately lost his temper when he heard a little hamster insulting him continuously.

"Who do you think I am calling useless?" sneered the hamster at Ayaan and curled its lips into a weird angel as if laughing disdainfully at Ayaan.

"Damn you!" Ayaan gritted his teeth and thought about something, then curled his lips in a vicious grin. He grabbed the hamster with his two fingers and hanged it by its two tiny legs.

"How dare you disrespect the Heavenly Hamester, you lowly human!?" screamed the hamster and struggled to get its freedom. However, no matter what it tried it couldn't get free from Ayaan's clutches.

"You are my servant, how dare you disrespect your master?" Ayaan replied while still hanging the hamster in the air. He used his single finger and smacked on its soft hairy butt.

"Wah-wha-wha, how could you be so cruel to a child? You evil master!" the hamster unexpectedly started crying, which caught Ayaan by surprise.

"Hey, hey, shhhh! Shut up, or you want to wake up everyone." Ayaan tried to calm the little creature down, but it only had an opposite reaction.

"Wha-wha-wha!" the hamster cried even louder.

"Whaaa, what is that thing?" Suddenly an exclamation came from behind Ayaan.

Ayaan turned and saw Akash looking at the crying hamster with his sparkling eyes as if he had found a precious toy.

The hamster fell silent for a second when he heard an unknown voice but then he again cried even louder. "Wha-wha-you cruel master, you bully!"

'Damn you trying to gain sympathy from a child.' Ayaan immediately saw through this despicable thing's trick. He gritted his teeth but didn't continue hitting it, or he would become a cruel bully in reality. He placed the hamster on his hand, so as not to cause any misunderstanding. The creature looked at Ayaan cunningly and touched its mustache like a human as if declaring its victory.

However, the cunning hamster didn't stop crying, though, it wasn't crying as loud as before, its expressions were very pitiful that would let him gain sympathy from anyone.

Akash walked to Ayaan and looked at the hamster curiously, then turned toward Ayaan. The boy hesitated for a second and asked, "Big Brother, did you bully this cute creature?"

"Hey, who are you calling a creature you ugly human?!" snapped the hamster at Akash. The boy wasn't prepared and fell backward in shock. Immediately the little hamster realised he had torn his own facade and couldn't help but lament.

Ayaan chuckled when he saw the scene, now he had one of its weaknesses, and he could use this weakness in front of other girls to show them this damned things true colour.

"This thing is so vicious how did you tame it, Big Brother?" Akash asked as he stood from the ground.

"You damned human, who are you calling vicious? I am a Nobel Heavenly Hamster. Thousands of human slaves used to serve me!"

"Yeah, in your dream," sneered Akash, now he knew this creature wasn't cute at all. It had such a vicious tongue.

"What is going on here?" Suddenly Rebecca's voice came from outside, along with many foot sounds.
