Give Me Your Hands and Marry Me

Lan Lixiao was cleaning the pictures in his study. He looked up when someone came in.

“I don’t want to quarrel with you today.”

Lan Lixiao snorted and continued to clean the pictures.

Lan Heng came towards him casually. “Stop cleaning them. My mother does not like you to do it.”

“Nonsense!” Lan Lixiao shot him a glare. “You just said you did not want to quarrel.”

“I am not here to quarrel with you.” Lan Heng snatched the pictures from Lan Lixiao, and put them away.

Lan Lixiao stood up immediately and said, “Slowly. Don’t drop them.”

“Dad, do you have anything to say?” Lan Heng asked.

“What can I say?” Lan Lixiao glanced at him. “Can you stay here to manage our company?”

Lan Heng raised his eyes slightly and said, “Second elder brother and Lan Wenxuan can do it.”

“They are hardly comparable to you.” Lan Lixiao said, after a momentary hesitation, “You know your second elder brother can keep our business going, but he is not able to improve it.”

Lan Lixiao sighed, when he saw his youngest son saying nothing. “I know you chose to leave for the benefit of our family. Otherwise, your second elder brother would be restless.”

“Stop discussing trivial details. I left for my freedom.” Lan Heng ignored his compassionate father and said, “Let’s come to the point.”

Lan Lixiao snorted. “What’s your business?”

“Dad.” Lan Heng stared at him. “What’s the matter with A Miao?”

Lan Lixiao’ eyes flashed. “A Miao is okay.”

“…” Lan Heng suddenly stood up. “I see. You can go about with your business then.”

After he finished speaking, he turned and left immediately.

Lan Lixiao frowned and when Lan Heng reached the door, he said, “Don’t hurt her. She is a good girl.”

“I don’t care.” Lan Heng waved his hands and closed the door.

When A Miao learnt that Li Nian had hired Shen Xinglan’s subordinates to kill her, her facial expression was as follows.

“It seems that Yin Sihai did not sell the news to the Li family.”

Shen Xinglan helped her put on her jacket. “I have an appointment with him tonight, so I will send you to the Lan family, after we pick Yaya up. Tomorrow is Sunday. I will pick you so we can have a meal in the afternoon.”

“…” A Miao suddenly turned to look at him. “Are you going to take action tomorrow?”

Shen Xinglan looked at her with appreciation. “Tomorrow you need to find an excuse to leave Yaya in the house of the Lan family.”

A Miao received a phone call from Shen Xinglan at midnight.

“Hello?” A Miao was a little nervous, thinking that something was wrong.

A Miao said, “What happened? Your negotiation with Yin Sihai was not successful?”

Patterns appeared at the four corners of the table.

Shen Xinglan was not surprised to receive a message from A Miao. The whole thing was logical, according to Yin Sihai’s explanation. Now he had to deal with Li Nian and the Li family.

“BOSS, I have received the image from Miss A Miao.” Shen I ran in with a computer in his arms.

Shen Xinglan nodded and said, “Go and make the map.”

“Should we make a copy?” Shen I thought they should not give the benefit to those people.

“No, you go there first, once the map is done.” Shen Xinglan sneered and said, “Take whatever you can.”

Shen Xinglan thought, “No matter who they are, they will know it is not easy to take advantage of others. Even if they succeed this time, they won’t be so lucky the next time.”

A Miao felt relaxed, as well as guilty.

“Are you worried?” Lan Lixiao sat on the sofa, and put Yaya on his lap. “Look! We are having a good time.”

Yaya held the walnuts he gave, and wanted to bite them, from time to time.

“No…” A Miao brought her mind back. “I am afraid that Yaya is too lively and you may be tired.”

“Nonsense!” Lan Lixiao glared at her. “I am in good health. Just go. I will bring Yaya to climb the mountain, after a while.”

A Miao could not help laughing. “You had better stay at home, grandpa.”

“Miss Elder, don’t worry.” Uncle Fu put in, “I will take care of Elder Master.”

“Okay, thank you!”

Lan Lixiao was angry with them, so A Miao left quickly, after she said goodbye to Yaya.

Li Nian walked up and down the room. If everything went well, she would receive a phone call that Shen Xinglan and A Miao had been taken to the appointed place.

“Hahaha…” When she thought about it, Li Nian could not help trembling.

When her mobile phone rang, she was startled and picked it up immediately.

“Hello?”

“Hahahaha!” When she heard the news she was waiting with, Li Nian relaxed totally. “I am coming. Don’t forget to inject Shen Xinglan with the drugs.”

She drove to the suburbs hurriedly, not noticing that there was a car tailing her since she left home.

“BOSS, she is coming.” A hitman came in.

Another one held the rope in his trembling hands and said to A Miao, “Mrs., Mrs. Shen, I… I am sorry.”

“Do it gently.” Little Demon thought he was clumsy and snatched the rope. “I will take it.”

A Miao had to comfort them. “I am okay. Let us get ready for it.”

“The one who screws up will receive special training instantly.” Shen Xinglan glanced at them.

A Miao shouted at her. “What did you inject him with?”

“Something that will make him happy.” Li Nian stood up and kicked A Miao’s leg with her high-heeled shoes. “Don’t worry. I will not treat you unfairly. I’ll bring you something that can make you happy.”

After that, she clapped her hands.

The two bodyguards ran out and brought a big cage in. There were three ragged men in the cage, looking dirty and flushed. Even their eyes were red.

“They have just taken the most potent philter. ” Li Nian smiled and looked at A Miao. “I will send you into the cage now. Are you satisfied with my arrangement?”

Shen Xinglan glared at her angrily. “How dare you?”
