Villain Is Bodyguard of Heroine’s Poisonous Stepmother

Chapter 66: Bunny Girl Xiao Qingxue

“You really don’t want to call me ‘Mom’? Then I can’t guarantee that this video won’t get leaked,” Zhao Yingxuan said with a gleeful smile, looking at Xiao Qingxue’s distressed face.

Raising her head and glaring at Zhao Yingxuan, Xiao Qingxue, though reluctant and resentful, called out, “Mom.”

Hearing this reluctant acknowledgment, Zhao Yingxuan’s smile widened. It wasn’t the title itself that pleased her, but the knowledge that Xiao Qingxue had been subdued.

“Did you capture me just to humiliate me?”

“Humiliate? Think of it more as a form of revenge,” Zhao Yingxuan said, her eyes cold.

Recalling the recent attack, Zhao Yingxuan knew she would have died in that car accident if it weren’t for Chen Luo’s intervention.

“Your father’s debts must be paid by his daughter,” she stated.

“Revenge? My father has been nothing but generous to you. Why would you seek revenge?” Xiao Qingxue, still in disbelief, retorted.

“The car accident I encountered a few days ago, which could have been fatal, was orchestrated by your father. Tell me, shouldn’t I seek revenge?” Zhao Yingxuan asked calmly.

“My father wouldn’t try to kill you,” Xiao Qingxue instinctively refused to believe it. In her eyes, her father, Xiao Yongqiang, loved Zhao Yingxuan and always fulfilled her wishes.

“Believe it or not, that’s the truth. Today, you will accompany my little brother again. If you behave well, I might let you go within ten days,” Zhao Yingxuan continued.

Hearing this, Xiao Qingxue’s face grew even more troubled.

“Impossible,” she said through gritted teeth.

She couldn’t trust Zhao Yingxuan’s words. She doubted she would ever be released. Furthermore, Zhao Yingxuan’s proposal was demeaning, treating her as if she were some sort of object.

“You’re unwilling? Then don’t blame me for releasing this video. Let’s hope you still have the courage to live after that,” Zhao Yingxuan threatened, firmly grasping Xiao Qingxue’s Achilles’ heel, leaving her no room to resist.

“Even if you die, people will still talk about you,” Zhao Yingxuan added, tightening her grip on Xiao Qingxue’s vulnerability.

“Anyway, it’s not the first time anymore, so what’s the big deal?” Zhao Yingxuan’s words shook Xiao Qingxue’s defenses. Indeed, what difference did it make if it happened once or a hundred times? She was no longer the flawless CEO Xiao she once was.

“Fine, I agree,” Xiao Qingxue conceded through gritted teeth.

“Then follow me,” Zhao Yingxuan commanded.

She then stepped with Xiao Qingxue reluctantly trailing behind. Chun Mei followed closely, keeping a vigilant eye on Xiao Qingxue as per Chen Luo’s instructions, allowing no chance for escape.

“Here’s the outfit I’ve prepared for you. Go take a shower and change into it,” Zhao Yingxuan said, placing a set of clothes in front of Xiao Qingxue. Her face changed upon seeing the outfit – a bunny girl costume. Wearing such a costume felt like a death sentence to her dignity.

“I don’t want to wear this,” Xiao Qingxue stated coldly.

Zhao Yingxuan sneered, “It seems you still don’t understand your situation. When under someone’s roof, one must bow their head, don’t you understand?” She waved the laptop as a clear threat.

Xiao Qingxue, understanding the implication, silently picked up the bunny girl outfit. She knew Zhao Yingxuan was trampling on her dignity, but she had no choice but to endure it. Despite her cold and strong exterior, if one were to break through her shell, one would find a much more timid heart inside. She was afraid of too much now, and if she could summon even a fraction of her assertiveness shown to her employees, Zhao Yingxuan wouldn’t be able to manipulate her so easily.

At the end of the day, Xiao Qingxue was unaware that Zhao Yingxuan would never release the video. Otherwise, her response would have been far more defiant than anyone else’s.

Observing Xiao Qingxue’s submission, Zhao Yingxuan felt a sense of achievement. Despite their previous antagonism, Xiao Qingxue was now obediently complying.

As Xiao Qingxue went to bathe and change, Chen Luo had already returned.

“How did it go with White Rose? Did you manage to subdue her, or did you not even get to see her?” Zhao Yingxuan curiously asked upon Chen Luo’s return.

White Rose was undoubtedly the most mysterious of the three underground forces in Magic City, her methods not to be underestimated.

“I personally took care of it. Is there anything I can’t handle?” Chen Luo replied confidently.

“Exactly why I fancy you, my little brother. Wonderful,” Zhao Yingxuan praised, planting a kiss on Chen Luo’s lips. “I have another surprise for you shortly.”

“A surprise related to Xiao Qingxue?” Chen Luo guessed.

“Correct,” Zhao Yingxuan nodded.

Hearing it was about Xiao Qingxue, Chen Luo felt a surge of anticipation. What new scheme had Zhao Yingxuan concocted this time, especially after having already deceived her once?

About ten minutes later, Xiao Qingxue emerged, dressed in a bunny girl outfit, feeling utterly humiliated. Chen Luo’s eyes brightened at the sight. Her cold demeanor, coupled with the costume, added a dangerously attractive aura to her.

“Hmph, don’t forget the old for the new,” Zhao Yingxuan jealously pinched Chen Luo’s waist upon noticing his gaze fixated on Xiao Qingxue.

Chen Luo coughed lightly, “I’m not that kind of person.”

“One of these days, I’ll wear a similar outfit for you,” Zhao Yingxuan mused, convinced she could outshine Xiao Qingxue in a similar uniform.

“I’m looking forward to it,” Chen Luo responded with anticipation upon hearing Zhao Yingxuan mention she would wear a similar outfit another day.

He imagined in his mind that Zhao Yingxuan, dressed in that outfit, would undoubtedly be more enchanting than Xiao Qingxue. Unlike Xiao Qingxue, Zhao Yingxuan wouldn’t be so shy and reserved. In fact, modesty was futile with such minimal fabric, it was impossible to cover much.

“Turn around, don’t look,” Xiao Qingxue demanded of Chen Luo in embarrassment.

However, Chen Luo only gazed more intently upon hearing her words.

“You’re wearing this for others to see, right? Besides, there’s nothing about you I haven’t seen already,” he said.

Indeed, Chen Luo knew Xiao Qingxue perhaps even better than she knew herself.

Xiao Qingxue felt a sense of desolation inside, barely holding back her tears. She tried to maintain her cool demeanor, clinging to the last shred of her dignity. Witnessing Xiao Qingxue’s feigned strength, Zhao Yingxuan scornfully smiled, curious to see if her facade would crumble completely.

“Is this surprise enough for you?” Zhao Yingxuan asked Chen Luo.

“Indeed, it’s quite a surprise. I like it very much.” Chen Luo smiled and nodded.

He wasn’t pretending to be a gentleman. He didn’t bother with false modesty. He promptly lifted Xiao Qingxue in his arms, expecting her to resist, but she didn’t struggle at all.

“Have you resigned yourself to fate?” Chen Luo looked down at Xiao Qingxue, unable to read her expression.

He thought she wasn’t the type to give up so easily, especially being the female heroine. How could she accept her fate so readily? But Chen Luo didn’t care about what she thought internally. As long as she couldn’t escape his control, that was all that mattered. And right now, Xiao Qingxue indeed lacked the capacity to break free from his grasp.
