“This bracelet?” Elder Xu was shocked. Did he judge wrongly or was this bracelet indeed incredibly valuable?

Xia Tian kept quiet as he bit his finger and placed a drop of his blood onto the surface of the bracelet. The bracelet let out a red glow in that instant, and everyone at the scene was aghast.

It was a Blood Gemstone.

“Hey brother, I would like to buy this bracelet for 1,000,000 RMB.” A store owner at the side came forward and offered.

“Hey brother, that can’t do. You’re offering only 1,000,000 dollars for Blood Gemstones? I’m willing to buy it for 2,000,000 dollars.” Another store owner came forward as well. The Blood Gemstone was an incredibly rare item and was priceless in the market.

Since this was a bracelet that was made entirely out of Blood Gemstone, its origin was no doubt extraordinary.

“I’m sorry, I’m not selling this.” Xia Tian smiled gently as he walked to the entrance of the street. It was his time to leave.

Elder Xu followed Xia Tian as he saw the latter leaving Antique Enthusiast Street. The four bodyguards behind him followed quickly behind him as well. “May I know your name?”

“I’m Xia Tian,” he responded.

“I wonder if the young master looks up to me, Xu Dechuan. I am pleased to make your acquaintance.” Xu Dechuan saw hope in Xia Tian. He was certain that the appraising ability shown by Xia Tian was definitely not luck and he must be a disciple of a well-known master appraiser.

Xia Tian was unfamiliar with Jianghai City in the past and did not foresee himself making connections with a bigshot. However, he now knew that the world was different from what he had thought ever since he had awakened his Insight. He had many questions that needed to be answered.

Where did his mother go? Why did his father never allow him to question it, on top of his incredibly suspicious death? He did not even get to see his father’s remains for the last time before they were cremated and it was his aunt that helped his father set up the stela.

He would not be able to find out the truth with his strength alone. However, he would have a higher chance with the help of Master Appraiser Xu Dechuan. After all, Xu Dechuan’s network was much bigger than his.

The obstacles would also be more surmountable too were he to investigate that.

“Of course. It would be an honor to befriend Master Xu,” Xia Tian smiled gently. He had already decided to befriend Master Xu but he had to be wary of this cunning old man.

“You’ve put me to shame youngster. Your appraising level has already reached the level of a grandmaster. I was truly the one fooling around in front of you.” Elder Xu waved his hand softly. “May I know your name?”

“I’m Xia Tian.” Xia Tian said.

“Ah, so your name is Xia Tian. May I know who your master is?” Elder Xu was more interested in the person backing Xia Tian since he was able to nurture a disciple that was as good as Xia Tian. He would definitely be the best master in the community of antique enthusiasts.

Xia Tian’s appraising ability was already good enough to see through Fang Quzi’s imitations. Then, a Range Rover stopped in front of Xia Tian and the rest. The Antique Enthusiast Street was rather narrow and even though the street had many people loitering about, there were less people walking just past the street.

Xu Dechuan frowned when he saw the Range Rover.

The door opened and three black-suited men walked out of the car. One of them was limping and was disabled. His hair was incredibly short and even though he was in black attire, it was different from the other two. He was in sports attire and there was not a single accessory on him at all. He, too, had military boots, black and very well polished.

Xu Dechuan standing behind Xia Tian took a few steps back involuntarily when he saw the three men, whereas the four bodyguards behind him came in front.

The black-attired man whose leg was no more glanced at Xu Dechuan before staring back at Xia Tian. “You’re Xia Tian, right? Follow me.”

“Follow you? Who are you?” Xia Tian was no idiot and he was able to tell that this guy was not friendly at all.

“He’s Shan, Xu Qinghua’s personal bodyguard from the Xu Family.” Xu Dechuan whispered behind Xia Tian as he knew just how strong Shan was.

“Xu Dechuan, this is none of your business. It’s in your best interest to not meddle in this. Don’t blame me, Shan, for not considering your position otherwise.” Shan looked at Xu Dechuan as he walked forward. Although he was not scared of Xu Dechuan, the situation would become incredibly troublesome if the latter were to butt in.

“Shan, don’t you dare think that you can disrespect me just because Xu Qinghua is backing you up. I’m his biological uncle no matter how you see it.” Xu Dechuan walked forward and stared at Shan as he spoke. He knew very well that Xia Tian was no ordinary man and he must have definitely been backed up by some big shot. Now that Xia Tian was in danger, it would solidify their relationship if he were to stand up for him.

Although Shan was incredibly powerful, the person backing Xia Tian would definitely not be afraid of him.

The two men-in-black behind Shan walked towards Xia Tian whereas Xu Dechuan’s four bodyguards stood in front of Xia Tian. This war could explode in a hair’s breadth and at that moment, Shan walked forward. “You two just watch from the sideline. We’ll waste a lot of time if it’s the two of you doing it.”

“Four of you attack him all at once. Don’t look down on him, he’s not an ordinary person.” Xu Dechuan frowned. Nobody knew Shan as much as he would.

The reason Xu Qinghua was able to stay the head of the Xu Family was hugely related to ‘

Shan’s presence. The latter had been taking care of all obstacles and enemies for him.

All four of Xu Dechuan’s entourage were all professional bodyguards and had gone through special training. Each and every one of them was able to single-handedly take care of two to three youngsters at once in order to ensure Xu Dechuan’s safety.

Shan casually walked toward Xu Dechuan’s four bodyguards. Xia Tian was extremely curious, ‘Is Shan really an expert despite being disabled?’ Shan started moving as he instantly lashed out his left leg. The kick was so quick that it made direct contact with one of the bodyguards’ chin. He then used the bodyguard as support with his kick and used his other leg to kick horizontally at the other bodyguard.

“This.” Xia Tian was shocked when he saw Shan’s powerful kick. Even the martial artists that he witnessed in the past were not able to perform such a powerful kick.

“Looks like I’ve underestimated Shan. Brother Xia Tian, I’m afraid that even I can’t save you from him. It’s best for you to summon your master to handle the situation. People that have been eyed by Xu Qinghua aren’t prone to good outcomes.” Xu Dechuan took this opportunity to persuade Xia Tian to summon his master. That way, he would have the chance to befriend him.

“So this old man is thinking of this huh.” Xia Tian thought to himself. He had been wary of Xu Dechuan all this while as the latter was not someone that would be easy to handle. This type of person could be described as a double-edged sword. It would be able to kill someone with it if used properly but he would certainly harm himself if he was not careful.

The reason Xu Dechuan was willing to stand up for and befriend him was that the latter believed that Xia Tian had a very powerful master backing him up. Despite knowing that, Xia Tian chose not to expose him. “My master is an old and busy man. He wouldn’t appear just because of this small issue.”

All it took Shan was a few seconds for him to unleash all of his kicks, and all four bodyguards had fallen down to the ground. However, these four were not good for nothing as well as they grit through all the pain and stood back up again.

“Hmpf, you’re quite persistent.” Shan did not hold himself back as he released his kicks once more, sending the two bodyguards to the distance. He then stomped with his right leg and did a somersault, landing his other leg on the third bodyguard’s head. As the bodyguard fell to the ground, Shan’s right leg tapped gently onto his opponent’s shoulder as he stood on him.

He then did another somersault, sending the bodyguard flying to the distance.

“Follow me.” Shan stared coldly at Xia Tian. His mission was to bring Xia Tian home instead of harming him. As for Xu Dechuan, he was not even worth troubling at all.

The reason Xu Dechuan was still standing there instead of being attacked was that he was Xu Qinghua’s elder. Xu Dechuan would have gone to see Xu Qinghua’s brothers if that was not the case.

“Do you still want me to keep waiting?” Shan frowned as the two men-in-black behind him walked towards Xia Tian to grab hold of him.

Just as the two were about to grab hold of Xia Tian, he stepped back gently before grabbing the two by their shoulders with his hands. He pulled the two of them as they fell to the ground. Although his actions looked rather gentle, the crowd saw everything.

Shan was slightly shocked as well as he looked at Xia Tian.
