Tamer of Cosmic Beasts

Chapter 34: Godlyn Empire

Soon after, the waiter arrived, with a collection of delicious dishes. The table was filled with juicy and crispy food. Haji Tea came back at that time and joined the table. Baghi looked at him with a side-eye and, in turn, Haji coughed and cleared his throat.

"Ahem, My Liege, you start first."

"As you wish."

Akash replied as he picked up a plate.

All of them enjoyed the food as it was quite scrumptious. Akash and Baghi praised the delicacy of the restaurant and discussed the city's development.

"Alright, I have to go somewhere."

Akash said as he slowly stood up.

"Where to, My Liege?"

Haji asked while Baghi was silently looking at Akash.

Akash retorted.

"I'm going to bring us some reinforcements."

"From where?"

Baghi Tea kicked Haji's foot beneath the table and said to Akash.

"We will be waiting for you, My Liege."

Haji Tea immediately understood Baghi's actions.

"Alright then, My Liege. Contact us as soon as you get back."

Akash smiled and replied.

"Sure, who else could I contact other than you. I will be back by tomorrow before your family arrives."

"No worries, My Liege. Just bring us some strong allies, haha."

Akash started to float before speaking.

"I'm not sure if I can get them here in this world or not yet, I'm just going to try my luck."

With this, Akash flew towards the headquarters at a frightening speed.

Baghi, Haji, Aisha and Mike. All of them were left looking at each other confused. Baghi, who was less surprised, began.

"You said he was at the 1st Star realm?"

Haji flinched and replied.

"I am certain he was."

Baghi squeezed his eyes.

"Oh, have you ever seen a 1st Star tamer flying? In fact, have you ever seen anyone below a Star Knight tamer flying?"

Haji was at a loss for words. After a moment of thinking it over, he replied.

"He has changed too much after his training, he is no longer your average tamer… if he ever was one, to begin with."

~Akash~

Akash asked the System on his way back to headquarters.

"System, is it possible to bring people from my inner world over to this world?"

*beep*

[Yes, it is possible, but The King is advised against doing it.]

"Is there a reason?"

[It will greatly affect the cultivation and power of The King. If The King takes out someone who has a big role in the inner world, the repercussions would be even more tremendous.]

"It's okay, I need them. I will recoup my loss later."

The System didn't reply. Shortly after, Akash arrived at the headquarters.

Akash went into his chambers, sat on the bed, closed his eyes and sent his consciousness into his inner world. There, he saw 4 different planets, the space was not black but rather golden. There was a sole bright star, around which the 4 planets were orbiting.

Akash saw that one planet was bigger than the rest. It was the same planet that Akash had gone to before. He remembered the Orc Village's location and dived in.

In the blink of an eye, Akash landed on an arena, one shaped like a big square. It was well made with decorations and boundaries. At first, Akash was confused, wondering if he had landed somewhere he hadn't intended.

"Who are you? How did you get there?"

A guard in a golden dress ran towards Akash. Soon after, many more arrived. Akash looked at them as he saw a few elves among them as well.

Akash asked them.

"Is this the Orc Village?"

The guard pointed their spears.

"What Orc Village, this is the Godlyn Empire. Get off from the Sacred Arena!"

"Sacred Arena... Godlyn Empire!"

Akash pondered and asked.

"Do you know Daan Godlyn?"

The guard was enraged.

"How dare you take the 1st emperor's name in vain like this.

Kill him!"

The guard yelled and jumped at Akash.

Akash sighed.

"I don't have time for this."

He flew to the sky and yelled loudly.

"Runa, Daan, Sohrab, Zanda, Shahdar, Botal! Your saviour is back, I'm waiting for you all in Sacred Arena!"

The voice echoed throughout the sky and made the air tremble, Akash landed back on the same spot and looked at the guards.

"Don't mess with me for your own good, wait here till they come."

All the guards were looking at each other as they were awed by his display. The same guard asked.

"Are you the saviour who had taught our ancestors about cultivation and taming?"

"Indeed, I am."

As Akash said that, thousands of people came. All murmuring something as they were looking at each other.

Soon, everyone had scattered and made a path, for a golden carriage had arrived. Three figures came out. A lionman, an orc and an elf. The lionman came forward first.

"Greetings, saviour, we have all been waiting for you to return for generations. We were told by our ancestors that our saviour, who had changed this world, would return one day.

I'm the 7th emperor. My name is Mushkil Godlyn, great-grandson of Daan Godlyn."

The orc came forward second.

"I am the grandson of Botal Langmachi, the military general of this empire. My name is Zilo Langmachi."

Lastly, the elf introduced himself.

"I am Lunkha Panipee, king of the elves. We have allied ourselves with Godlyn Empire. I'm the Chief Minister."

Akash was not surprised by the difference in time.

"Glad to see that everything has gone well while I've been absent. Take me to your grandfathers, I'm in a hurry."

Zilo Langmachi replied.

"I'm sorry, our saviour, but... they are dead."

Akash was startled.

"How could this be, I gave them all the necessary information about cultivation. With each breakthrough in cultivation, their life should have been prolonged."

Mushkil retorted.

"Apologies, not all of them have died, however, those that have, were killed in action rather than of natural causes."

Akash's eyes twitched, pondering.

"How could anybody kill them when they were the very first people to learn about cultivation and taming? I guess after absorbing the Chaos Dwelling gems, many things have changed."

Akash asked Mushkil.

"How many of them are still alive?"

Mushkil replied.

"Only three, the 1st Emperor Daan Godlyn, who is currently seriously ill. General Zanda, who has renamed himself as Sacra Emilat, was badly wounded in a war and can no longer walk, as a result. Lastly, Duke Sohrab Khan…

After the others had died and the former two had become bedridden or even crippled, Sohrab became lonely, causing him to leave on a journey somewhere. We don't know where he is, but he has become very powerful and is definitely alive."

Akash Tagar laughed.

"Haha, is that it? I thought a more serious problem had occurred. Take me to them!"

Mushkil was curious about the powers of Akash Tagar, he offered him to sit in the carriage and went towards the palace, where Daan Godlyn was.

On his way to the royal palace, Akash saw a gigantic statue of his old self, from the time he had trained them. It was also surrounded by 7 smaller statues, the seven chosen ones that Akash had taught. Mushkil saw his interest and explained them further for his amusement.

"Emperor Daan had built this during his reign. That center statue is yourself, of course, depicting the time when you had saved and united the beastfolk and the orcs."

Akash smiled in response. Soon, the palace entered Akash's sight. As such, they quickly arrived and entered Daan's well protected room. There, he saw two big beds, on one was a red-coloured orc sleeping and snorting.

While on the other bed, was a weak and fragile yet tall lionman, his skin was white and mane colour was grey and his fangs were a little bigger than usual for lionmen.

Akash Tagar looked at the orc and opened his profile.

[Name: Sacra Emilat

Realm: 3rd Moon, 9th Star

Aptitude: Lower-Common Grade

Learnt Laws: Martial Law, Wind Law, Water Law, Lightning Law]

Akash murmured to himself.

"Never thought he had such a low aptitude with no inborn laws. Well, let's check Daan."

[Name: Daan Godlyn

Realm: 1st Moon, 10th Star

Aptitude: Lower-Common Grade

Learnt Laws: Martial Law, Earth Law, Fire Law, Ice Law, Light Law]

Akash sighed

"At least, he has five learnt laws. It's more than enough. I've give them the knowledge about which law to practice in which realm, I hope in future everybody else can grasp on every law"

Akash yawned and pondered

"Now, how to bring them out?"

Everyone felt the ground's vibration, Mushkil flinched.

"It is a beast!"

He looked at Zilo and asked.

"How could a beast come so far into the city? Where are the defense troops?"

Zilo replied in a hurry.

"They are all in their positions, Your Majesty. Let me go and check."

Akash Tagar stopped him and explained.

"Relax, it's not a beast."

Lunkha asked Akash.

"Then, what is it?"

Akash smirked.

"A friend."

The vibrations soon stopped. Everyone present was looking at each other as Akash raised his finger towards the roof and advised.

"Watch the roof and protect yourself."

They couldn't understand why Akash had said that. The palace was very stiff and tall, what could possibly happen to the roof. There were three more stories above this room. They were still in the process of thinking. When suddenly…

~BANG BANG BANG BOOM~

With a blast, a gigantic black figure landed in the room, destroying the palace from the very top to the bottom. All the present people were buried by the wreckage of the roof.

Akash was merely touched by the dust as he protected Daan and Sacra as well. He looked at that figure and scolded it.

"Idiot, you almost killed them!"

The gigantic black thing scratched his head in embarrassment and replied.

"Hahaha, I'm sorry, My King. I couldn't control my excitement when I heard your voice, saying that you are back,"

The figure was none other than a minotaur named Sohrab Khan.

"Haha, glad to see you again, Sohrab."

"You made us wait too long, saviour."

Sohrab replied with a wide grin.
