Chapter 81: System Alert: Player Has Leveled Up!

"The first," Bloom muttered as the shock wave sent him flying a couple of meters, while other monsters started to roar, one after another, breaking free from their restraints.

"Dash!"

Bloom hurried to use his stun skill, however he received a system notification of his failure. "Sorry guys, you will take the toll of this ultimate skill," he muttered, as he wanted to go and save the three who were now caught up by the tentacles of the monsters, while being hammered hard with their heads.

The only way to break this was to hurry and make another one lose Hp fast. So, he turned to the one monster he was dealing with, while its own Hp was only one thousand away from crossing the twenty percent threshold, and it was now holding the one shade with its tentacles, preparing to attack it.

"Stab!"

"System alert: intermediate skill execution, skill is activated with only seventy five percent of its effect!"

His skill was activated successfully, but he didn't cross the threshold of seventy five percent yet. He wasn't demoted, as he didn't have time to train himself. as his sword moved to hit the target, his next skill was used at once.

"Slice!"

"System alert: intermediate skill execution, skill is activated with only sixty five percent of its effect!"

He moved, using his sword to cross the body of the monster, while evading the tentacles and the nasty tail. As he reached the back of the monster, he didn't delay and used his stab again and again, creating seventy to seventy percent damage of his original skill.

Just as two of his shades died under the bettering heads of the monsters, the monster he was attacking finally had its own Hp decreased by more than twenty percent, and with that the monster roared, and the horns shone, creating a shock wave, sending him flying a couple of meters backwards.

"Great," he shouted, while hurriedly moving, totally ignoring the monster he was fighting, while using a slice to change his position. He targeted the last two of monster which didn't use their skills yet; they had to use their skills now!

"Dash!"

He used his favored skill, moving directly towards one of them, hitting him hard. He didn't wait for that monster to be pushed back all the way, as he hurriedly used another skill to change his position.

"Slice!"

He managed to change his position to be in a more direct place with the last monster, and when he did he didn't delay and used dash skill again.

This time he didn't move away, and kept using his stab and slice skills over the monster, decreasing its Hp rapidly. Just as it was a hair breadth away from crossing the twenty percent threshold, he used a soft kick to throw the monster far, as he turned to face the other monster with unused ultimate skill, and used a skill over it to deplete its Hp at the same time.

"Dash piercer!"

His body rose in the air for three meters, moving like a hawk towards the monster, while the one behind him roared, as its horns shone brightly, sending a shock wave around, adding more momentum to Bloom who descended heavily over the last monster.

"1250"

A huge number appeared on top of that monster's head, made entirely by the combination of momentum created by the shock wave of the third monster's skill, and the luck of crit that Bloom and his shade had after the second ultimate skill was used.

"Roar!"

This damage was enough to make this monster's Hp decrease below twenty percent, and the monster instantly used the fourth skill, negating what it's comrade just did.

And like that, the fight turned into a simple fight, where there were no risks or surprises, and lastly the four monsters fell down, leaving finally one gear behind; an arm guard!

"Groneik arm guard: Weapon wilder faction only. Level zero arm guard. Grade: green. Str+ two hundred. Vit+ two hundred. Phy +three hundred."

It was a simple arm guard, and the next moment Bloom wore it, and he found it wasn't his style. "Sigh, it makes me look more barbaric with this one arm guard, why aren't there two then? Sigh!" he muttered, shaking his head as he decided to store it in his inventory, for later use or sell.

The fight despite being intense, it didn't take five minutes. he had a clear grasp of his own style in killing these monsters, and thus he waited until his shades disappeared, while waiting for all his skills to be reset.

He consumed village basic Hp potions one after the other until he regained his full Hp. Then he looked for another group of monsters, and started killing his way through this place.

After four hours, and killing another six groups, he finally killed enough monsters to level up.

"System alert: Player has leveled up."

"Sigh, finally," he sighed, as it took him a long time to just gain one level. in fact he didn't level up slow, instead he leveled up fast. For a team of players, they would only kill the monsters in half time he took to kill them, but they would share all the Xp together, making each one take five times longer than him to gain a single level.

"Let's put all the free points into Lu stat then," he opened his character profile and distributed the four free points to the Lu stat.

"So, this place isn't suited for solo leveling, but I have no other way around. If I wanted to level up one level again, then it would take me ages to do so, plus my current Lu stat is enough for my next fight," he muttered, while glancing at the huge variety of monsters around him.

This place proved how brilliant the developers of this game were, as no matter what the level of the player was, he would always be at a disadvantage all the time.
