NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 70: A Tattoo Special Gear

Bloom read this detailed, really revolutionized version of his new gear and laughed for long minutes. He had already gained a great gear that would be the base of his attacks and the fort for his defense.

"I don't know if other cursed gears are out there for sale," he opened the search again and tried to type the word 'Cursed' in there, but he got nothing back. He then typed the name 'Grode' and got nothing as well.

"Sigh, it seems it was just a fluke of luck here," he sighed, before giving up looking for cursed gears, before looking for another important thing for him.

A good concealment cape!

Everything he would do in all his quests was related to be unseen or not to be recognized or caught. So, he decided to use the great weapon of a concealment cape, one that could seal up his data from the eyes of others.

However, all the things he found weren't suited to his goal! All were only affecting those at the same level as him, making him sigh in regret.

Just as he was about to close the search, he decided to search for any gear that could affect any investigation skill. and suddenly he found one! A very strange gear to do that!

"Concealment glove: Level ten glove. Grade silver glove. No faction restriction. Stats: Phy +100. Skills:

Concealment skill: passive skill. makes the player unread to any investigation skill used by players.

Special concealment skill: Active skill. makes the player unread to any investigation skill used by NPCs. Duration: one minute. Cooldown: five minutes. Player can spend gold coins to extend the duration and reduce the cooldown of the skill, each ten gold coins spent will increase the duration for one minute, and reduce the cooldown by two minutes."

Bloom hurriedly checked the price of this glove, and was astonished to find it sold at three hundred gold coins!

"That's a steal, dam* you who sold this glove!" he, unwillingly, spent three hundred gold coins to buy this glove.

The moment he acquired it, he hurriedly wore it while his mind did the math. "So all I need is to spend thirty gold coins, making the gear run automatically for a five minutes period. That's just a bottomless abyss of gold consumption, sigh," he sighed, marveling the greedy system of this game!

However, he was still inwardly happy about getting it. This concealment skill was really worth the pay, and it would really solve a lot of problems in the future.

"I should also look for something to change my face, it's the only thing that I can be identified with, though," he thought for a while before deciding to look for something like that.

He started looking for masks, but he got nothing, then he looked for a ring or a cape to change his looks, but also found none. Finally he started to blindly search about anything to change his features, and what he found made him quite speechless!

It was a much weirder gear that he never thought to ever have!

"Lizard tattoo: Special type gear, made by master Overt by mistake. Grade white. No level required. No faction required. Permanently bound to the player, can't be dropped, can't be removed, can't be traded. No stat addition. Skills: Disguise skill: Player can select to change his shape, either randomly or by the select the specified criteria. Can change gender with double cooldown time. a player's disguise can't be detected by anyone or anything. Duration: until the player reverses it. Cooldown time: one day. Player can pay gold coins to reduce the duration of the cooldown by spending ten gold coins for one hour."

"What a weird gear!" he only muttered that, while he checked on its price.

"Fifty gold coins for a white tiered gear? That's really unbelievable!" he ranted, trying to vent his anger from this extravagant price. Despite that, he looked for other things there, but nothing satisfied his needs.

"Sigh, no option then except to buy it," he placed his bid, and he had to wait for another ten minutes before getting it. during these minutes, he thought about the cunning dark mind of the developers of this game! just like that, he would have to spend two hundred and forty gold coins to return his shape to the original!

"And who would be sick to change his genre? That's unbelievable!" he just vented his anger during his waiting by starting to level up his two swords.

He had already upgraded them to level one, and he stopped back there due to the lack of materials.

However, currently he wasn't short on materials at all, and instead of using redundant low level materials, he decided to try the SS materials he had.

He took out one of his two swords, opened its info page, before choosing to upgrade it.

"System alert: Does player want to upgrade the sword? Please select from your inventory the materials needed for upgrade."

"I selected one SS level five material," he casually replied, and then the system notification came to make him surprised.

"System alert: the material required is far higher than the requirements to upgrade the gear one level. If a player permits, the system will use the material and level the gear for ten levels. Does the player permit?"

"Wow, never thought I would get such a reply, sure I permit," he loudly chuckled before replying to the system question.

"System alert: the sword has been upgraded successfully. Player can view the stats in the sword info page."

Bloom didn't delay and opened the page of his sword. He knew each level gained would raise around twenty percent of the stats of his gear, so ten levels increase would grant him two hundred stat additions.

"Twin shrine of death sword: Level eleven sword. Grade: gold. Bound to player Bloom, can't be traded, can't be dropped. Str+ one four hundred. Vit+ four hundred. Has a knock down effect with certain probability to occur. Phy +two hundred percent.

Death drop convert skill: Passive skill. the sword will store tiny portions of any killed souls under it, be it players, monsters, creatures, beings, or NPCs. Each one thousand absorbed fractions would gather to form one death drop.

Death drops can't be used except by the sword to cause a single explosive attack with one thousand percent increase in damage caused by any player skills for each drop. Death drops can be stored forever.

Dash skill: Movable skill. Chain skill. increases Atp by four hundred percent, with stun effect when hitting the target from the dash for ten seconds, decreased or increased one second for each level difference with the player. Cooldown: fifteen seconds."
