Chapter 82: Sorry, You Can't Summon These Skeletons!

"Let's join up, let's show these skeletons our worth!" Ela was still unsatisfied with Oya's rejection to her, so she started to move towards the ocean of monsters, with an army of NPCs on her side!

Oya just stood her place, motionless, while her skeletons kept bringing endless monsters' corpses to her, to be turned in the next second into skeletons!

This wasn't an equal battle, it was her skeletons bullying the monsters!

The fight was intense, as the long front that extended from a point in the east to the far point in the west was filled with many monsters and skeletons.

However the NPCs managed to group them together into two groups, and went deeper into the monsters' ocean like two deep fangs pierced deeply into their flesh, and they started killing any monster they met.

Oya's skeletons were so many that they didn't need to run anymore, they were cleaning the whole area, pushing back the monsters towards the lava rivers they came from.

By the addition of the NPCs, this task started to be much easier, with many monsters failing to reinforce their friends on the frontlines, making the line being pushed back at a faster pace.

Oya and her friends were just staying back, doing nothing but enjoying the free ride over Oya's skeletons and allied NPCs, making their levels jump to approach fifty by now.

This was just unbelievable, as fighting any single one of these monsters alone, even in their current higher levels than before wasn't something easy for any of them.

Which made them all realize how crucial and fate changing their decision to join Oya from before… it was really a game changing to them.

As for Oya, she wasn't thinking about levels, or about this dungeon or monsters, but she was thinking of the other countries' decisions and plans for the future.

She needed to start moving faster towards achieving this alliance, and start gathering players from all over the world and the resistance would be born like that.

However she felt doubtful towards the response of the other G8 outside of the Armon country, which was just typical for their behavior.

"Sigh, I just hope two hundred and five would find a way to convince them to join us," she just murmured, as she watched Ela and the others fighting the monsters with her skeletons, while she was summoning more and more of them.

The fight started to be intense when they neared the lava river region, as many monsters appeared replenishing the killed ones. This kept going for hours, until they reached the first lava river, where Oya's giant skeletons jumped towards the river, and started fighting with the lord monster.

"You keep going, and I will come with you after summoning the lord skeleton."

Oya said to the others, as she waited on the side for fifteen minutes before her skeletons managed to kill the lord monster.

She then summoned the thirteenth giant skeleton, and then hurried to catch up with the others. The combined skeletons and NPCs army was now halting on the banks of ten rivers, unable to advance without killing the lord monsters inside.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Oya said the moment she reached Ela and her master.

"Waiting? You managed to kill it in a short time! we thought you would take double than that!" her master commended in surprise, as everyone thought the fight would take twenty minutes at least.

"They are unstoppable now, as they gained much levels up during the past fights, so their strength had evolved into a higher state," Oya replied, while explaining the reason for her skeletons to be much stronger than before.

Ela and her master didn't know what to say, as these skeletons were already monsters in their own terms, and now she just told them they were leveling up!

That was unbelievable!

"Alright, let's get finished from here, as there are much more lords to kill," Ela said, as she shook her head, before her master said:

"The new batch of NPCs will come here in a few hours, so you can kill the monsters inside them and gain more NPCs to your army."

Oya just smiled, as she said:

"That's great, we need to wrap things up then."

Oya then moved towards the first river, and unleashed her giant skeletons towards there. The fight was really brutal, but the skeletons were acting in a team, with some sane decisions and tactics that made everyone speechless.

"Do they move on their own, or you keep giving them orders?" Avada suddenly asked the question that everyone had in mind.

"I don't control them, they move by themselves," Oya simply replied, not knowing what the problem was.

"Scary!!"

That was what everyone was thinking, especially when a new batch of giant skeletons appeared side by side to the older ones. The new skeletons looked dumb, needed orders and directions even from other giant skeletons to act and move.

However, those older giant skeletons were already wiser, as they moved without the need for Oya to give them orders. That clear disparity made everyone aware, the upgrade wasn't only in the strength, but also in intelligence.

And that made them wonder, if in the future these skeletons would also speak!

Oya took roughly three hours, killing those ten monsters, and jumping from one river to another. When she finished all, she now had twenty three giant skeletons, and she was feeling she would be able to crash the sun with them if she wanted to.

"Let's go to the next rivers!" Ela shouted out loud, as she was as excited as Oya! the shape of their current army was really intimidating, making everyone feel invincible.

The next stop was at merely five rivers, and Oya divided her giant skeletons into two groups, attacking two rivers at the same time, accelerating the pace of her cleaning to the lord monsters.

After adding five more giant skeletons, she went with the others to the last line, where they were faced with a strange scene.

The rivers were arranged parallel to each other, but there were five rivers running across them all. There were thirty four rivers right now in front of them, with twenty nine rivers parallel to each other, and five rivers running across them.

"What is this?" Oya and the others muttered, as her master narrowed her eyes as she explained:

"Listen up, right now there is a chance these lord monsters will be joined together to attack us at the junctures of these five rivers. We need to start killing those twenty nine ones first, before heading towards the other five."

Oya understood her meaning, and she ordered her skeletons to start fighting. As this place gave her a bad feeling, she didn't risk dividing the skeletons, and let them all fight as one group.

The first five rivers went smoothly without any problems at all, however when she reached the sixth river, a change occurred at the distance, where the rivers started to be stirred, with lava waves so high to be seen by them, like they were responding to some calling.

"Be prepared, some other lords might appear," her master shouted to everyone, however nothing happened after that. The waves calmed down, and the rivers didn't show any more signs of change.

"Strange!"

Everyone felt the same, but this didn't stop Oya from attacking and killing five more monsters, adding so far ten giant skeletons to her skeleton army.

Her army now had thirty eight giant skeletons, and she still had twenty four rivers to clear.

However, it seemed the next rivers were doomed to be hard for her, for everyone, as a really bizarre change occurred when she tried to hit the eleventh river.

Suddenly all the rivers in front of them receded, like they were drying up.

"What is going on?!" everyone had such a question as they saw in the distance, a huge wall of lava was forming, like a huge tsunami wave, as all the lava receding back from these rivers all went there.

"Roar!"

The next minutes were really intriguing, and when everyone thought they would be hit mercilessly by this mighty wave, a roar suddenly erupted, announcing the birth of a new change, and a new monster!

"Be prepared, some other lords might appear," her master shouted to everyone, however nothing happened after that. The waves calmed down, and the rivers didn't show any more signs of change.
