My Son Might Be A Villain

Chapter 338: "This is Su Han's dad, my husband." (2)

Lu Shao smiled when he heard that.

“We can go shop for food.” Lu Shao looked at his watch and said, “It’s not too late yet. We can leave Su Han home to work on his homework and go shopping together, you and I.”

Su Ran felt that that was not a bad suggestion on Lu Shao’s part.

“Alright.” She nodded and added, “But nothing too complicated. It’s just the three of us.”

And that she didn’t have enough kitchenware either.

“Sure. Whatever you want.”

Su Ran took Lu Shao with her to the grocery store that she always picked up steamed bun from after telling her son to “focus on your homework.”

The two, walking around the grocery store in the supermarket, did not look like a couple who had just gotten their marriage certificate today. They looked more like a couple who had been married for years.

“What do you want to eat?” Lu Shao turned, looked over at Su Ran, and asked again.

“Anything?” Su Ran blinked and asked Lu Shao.

If Lu Shao didn’t let his ability show during the Quality Development Outing previously, Su Ran would never believe that the patriarch of a mysterious family whose existence could overshadow the male lead’s halo in the novel, would have skills like this.

“More or less,” said Lu Shao sincerely. “But, just tell me what you’d like. I’ll let you know if I don’t know how to make it.”

“Um… twice cooked pork?”

“Doable.”

“Eggplant with garlic sauce?”

“Doable.”

“Stir fry vermicelli?”

“Doable.”

Su Ran, “!”

Truth was, all these were common dishes that she planned to learn online recently. She was very baffled when it came to the amount of spices to use.

She had reflexively blurted out the ones that she most wanted to learn to make.

Lo and behold, Lu Shao nodded to all of them.

Mr. Lu, is there anything that you can’t do?

“Anything else?” asked Lu Shao again.

“Just these for now. Any more will just be wasted.”

“Okay, let’s head to the vegetable section first then.”

Su Ran honestly had no idea how to pick out vegetables. When she needed to buy vegetables occasionally in the past, she would just take what the middle-aged woman in front of her took.

Su Ran was still feeling disturbed that it was too late for there to be middle-aged women for her to mimic.

Lo and behold, she didn’t need to worry about that at all. Lu Shao had already quickly placed vegetables into bags and weighted them.

“What’s the trick in picking out vegetables?”

No shame in asking.

Upon hearing that, Lu Shao raised his brows. As though he had given it prolonged consideration, he said, “Pick what is pleasing to the eyes.”

Su Ran, “……”

Su Ran decided against participating in what else that Mr. Lu was buying. She only quietly committed to memory what he bought.

“Do you need anything else besides these? Like daily items?” asked Lu Shao after he was done shopping for dinner items.

“I don’t think so,” said Su Ran after thinking about it some.

She was not out of anything.

Lu Shao went on to say, “You can have extras for some items. Make it easier to swap them out.

“Anything else that is difficult to reach or heavier, we can also get. I’ll carry it back for you,” said Lu Shao.

Su Ran raised her brows upon hearing that and gave Lu Shao an exploratory look. Was Mr. Lu trying to prove himself here?

“Alright. Let’s also pick up some shampoo and toilet paper then,” said Su Ran with a smile.

The two walked over to the daily necessity section.

Su Ran grabbed a bottle of anything that she thought would run out in the next two months.

Su Ran walked in the front with Lu Shao following behind her. Occasionally, he would grab the item from the top shelf for Su Ran.

The division of labor was very clear.

It was time for paying for the items when Su Ran noticed that there were items in their shopping carts that she didn’t grab.

Towels, toothbrush, cup for the toothbrush, razor……

Something occurred to Su Ran when looking at these items. Suddenly, Su Ran felt her cheeks burning.

The next second, an even more serious problem occurred to Su Ran.

Where would Mr. Lu be sleeping if he was to stay over at her place?

She had a one-bedroom apartment. Then there was the bathroom and a half kitchen.

Nevermind about that. There were, um, men’s casual wear?!

Didn’t these need to be washed?

Su Ran’s lips twitched when she thought about all these.

Looked at Lu Shao, who was very pleased with the items that they had purchased, Su Ran decided to not bring up the cruel truth to him just yet.

She would at least wait until after Lu Shao had finished cooking dinner.
