My Son Might Be A Villain

Chapter 324: "It's very pretty." (3)

As Su Ran’s final was on a Friday and Su Han didn’t have school for the next two days, the three of them deiced to stay for another 1.5 days in City N.

They went back to that dessert place that Su Ran love two more times.

Lu Shao finally brought Su Ran and Su Han back on Sunday night.

“Tonight……” Lu Shao said suddenly in the car.

“What?” Su Ran, who had been responding to all of the comments and likes in her friend's circle sudden recollected herself and looked up at Lu Shao.

“I mean.”

Su Ran, “?”

What was it that Lu Shao just off today?

“Su Han still have some clothes over at my place,” said Lu Shao as he focused on his driving and with a serious look.

“Hmm?”

So Su Han should stay over at his place for one more night?

That would work. Except that Su Han had been staying with Lu Shao this entire time and Su Ran didn’t want her son to return home with Lu Shao.

Su Ran wasn’t entire sure what Lu Shao was getting it but Su Han, in the backseat, totally knew that someone’s intention.

As such, before Su Ran could say anything else, Su Han interjected.

“I have clothes at home. I don’t need to pick mine up from your place.”

Having said that, Su Han did not forget to give Lu Shao a warning and instigating look through the rearview mirror.

He had been nice enough to him over the last few days. So why was this guy kept wanting to push his luck?

Su Ran nodded thoughtfully when she heard Su Han’s words.

“We can just leave his clothes over at your place. Or we can go and pick them up in a couple of days,” said Su Ran to Lu Shao.

Su Han was no longer the pitiful little boy that he once was. Su Ran had bought him so much clothes that they almost couldn’t all fit inside that closet in their little rental place.

“Okay.” Lu Shao did not push the issue but glance over at Su Han in the backseat nonchalantly.

“You want to make a left up front for our place” Su Han reminded Lu Shao in a very “timely” fashion when they reached a turn.

Lu Shao, his eyes darkened a bit, said nothing else.

Under Su Han’s enthusiastic “direction”, the three quickly arrived at Su Ran and Su Han’s rental place.

After getting out of the car and opening up the car door for Su Ran, Lu Shao looked over at the very independent Su Han who was already walking upstairs with the suitcase and looked back.

“I’ll come and pick you up tomorrow morning,” said Lu Shao.

Su Ran was taken aback a little at first before realizing what Lu Shao was talking about.

“Oh, alright. What time then?”

“6 o'clock. Does that work?” ask Lu Shao.

6 o’clock? Isn’t that a bit early? Does it need to be that early?

Su Ran wondered.

She had never been but, if her memory served her correctly, doesn’t the Civil Affairs Bureau open at like 8 or 9 AM?

Su Ran wanted to stay to go later but, seeing the serious look on Lu Shao she finally nodded after some hesitation.

“Okay, I’ll wait for you downstairs at 6 then.”

“Okay.”

……

As she had promised Mr. Lu to leave at 6 o'clock, Su Ran set the alarm for 5. She got up and started getting ready seriously.

Even though they were only doing it for Su Han.

But this was Su Ran’s first time getting her marriage license in her two lifetimes combined!

And they would be taking pictures!

There would be just one photo, of course it couldn’t be a flop.

As such, when Su Han walked out from his room, he saw Su Ran struggling between two dresses.

“I think the white one is better,” said Su Han suddenly.

Su Ran was very surprised by that.

“This one?” said Su Ran as she lifted the dress in her right hand.

“Mmhmm.” Su Han nodded and said, “It’d look more official in the photo.”

Su Ran, “!”

WHA?T? Su Han had it figured out already?!

She never told Su Han and Lu Shao probably didn’t either.

And, her son just guessed it just like that?!

How was he so sharp?!

When Su Ran had recovered from her shock and started considering how to broach her son with this subject, Su Han reminded her again, “Be mindful of your time.”

Su Ran, “……”

Why did it seem that her son was very calm today? And that he didn’t seem to object to it at all?

If she wasn’t so certain that Lu Shao would never had mentioned it to Su Han voluntarily, she would have thought that Lu Shao had mentally prepared her son ahead of time.

As dubious as she felt but, much like Su Han had said, she was running out of time, so Su Ran changed into the white dress one that her son said was “more official”.

Lu Shao was already waiting there when Su Ran went downstairs.

Lu Shao had on a white shirt today.

Truth was, he didn’t look to different from the suit that he normally wore.

Nevertheless, Su Ran inexplicably felt that Lu Shao looked different today. He seemed to be a little bit nervous?

“You are very pretty.”

As Mr. Lu had said before, he wasn’t a romantic person, so this probably came truly from his heart.
