Chapter 76.2: Chi Lu x Bo Yu (2)

Bo Yu nodded.

Director Li smiled slightly and said, "Those little girls in our magazine are really lucky today."

"They saw both Mr. Bo and an international supermodel."

Bo Yu gave a small nod to show that he understood. There was no sign at all that people were interested in international models.

It was the assistant who asked curiously, "Sister Li, was there an international supermodel?" Why didn't we see her?"

Director Li pointed out and said, "I just sent her off not long before, she even saw you."

"Who is she?"

"She is Chi Lu."

Bo Yu stopped playing with his phone for a moment. Behind the lens, his eyes were incredibly sharp. He stared at Director Li, and his voice dropped two points as he asked, "You said who?"

Director Li paused for a moment, a little surprised by his reaction: "Chi Lu. Do you know her, Mr. Bo Yu?"

Bo Yu lowered his eyelashes and glanced at Director Li. His pupils were dark, like a deep pool, and the emotions on the surface looked unreal.

Director Li heard Bo Yu say, "I don't," after a while.

Director Li, "…"

The assistant on the side clicked her tongue silently, and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Director Li. We still have things to do, so we'll leave first."

"Be careful on your way," Director Li said with a smile.

Bo Yu nodded, and he got up and walked away right away.

The assistant saw his movement and quickly caught up with him.

Inside the car

The assistant glanced at the man sitting behind her through the rearview mirror. Bo Yu was looking down at his phone. His sharp, stern eyes were hidden by gold-framed glasses.

The assistant cleared her throat and said in a low voice, "I'm sorry, Mr. Bo."

Bo Yu gave him a look.

"I don't know anything about Ms. Chi's return," the assistant said in a low voice.

Bo Yu hummed and leaned back.

He took off his glasses, stretched out to pinch his eyebrows, and said in a low voice, "Check it."

"On it."

In less than half an hour, Bo Yu received Chi Lu’s itinerary after returning on his mobile phone.

He glanced twice and rubbed the edge of the phone with his fingertips. No one knew what he was thinking.

The assistant didn't dare to interrupt, and after being silent for a while, she asked, "Mr. Bo, should we go to the studio or go back?"

Bo Yu was silent for a moment before saying, "Go back."

"Yes."

……

Chi Lu didn't know that on the second day of her return, someone had completely memorized her itinerary.

After leaving the magazine office, she asked Xiaoxiao to drive herself to the cemetery.

She didn’t come back for two years, and likewise, she didn’t come to the cemetery for two years.

Even though it was summer, the wind in the graveyard was serene, and it made her feel cold.

She walked slowly towards the inside and stopped when she reached a place.

She looked at the face that looked like hers, reached out and lightly touched it, and then said in a low voice, "Mom, Dad, I've come to see you."

In front of her, there are two tombstones next to each other.

Chi Lu looked at them for a while, then put down the flowers she had bought on the way and asked softly, "I haven't seen you two in two years."

"Have you forgotten about me?"

She tilted her head and smiled, "You two must be blaming me for having no conscience, right?"

No one responded to her.

The only thing shaking the trees on both sides was the wind coming from the other side.

She sighed softly, and simply squatted down beside it.

"You two didn't have a conscience either." Chi Lu pursed her lips, her voice was wry and soft, and she didn't seem to have much power. "How could the two of you leave me alone and leave?"

Chi Lu didn't have much to say because she isn't very emotional.

After quietly staying in the cemetery for more than an hour, she got up and walked down.

She even didn’t notice since the sky had started to rain.

Chi Lu frowned and subconsciously quickened her pace. As she walked down, she inadvertently saw a blurry shadow.

Chi Lu paused and raised her eyes subconsciously.

What caught her eye was a black umbrella, and as her eyes moved further down, she saw a person under the umbrella. The face was hidden under the umbrella; only the chin was exposed. There were black clothes and trousers of the same color.#pleasereadthischapteratfoxaholic.com

Chi Lu’s eyelashes trembled, but she didn’t move.

The man took two steps forward and stood in front of her. An umbrella passed overhead, blocking the drizzle.

Chi Lu’s vision became clear; she raised her eyes from a close distance and saw the man’s face clearly.

The two people look at each other.

Chi Lu’s lips moved, and she looked up at the umbrella above her head.

Bo Yu didn't say anything; he just looked at her with his deep eyes.

The two looked at each other, and neither of them was willing to admit defeat first.

Bo Yu tilted his head after a moment of silence and asked, "Are you still here waiting for me or the car?"

Chi Lu, "…

She rolled her eyelids and said, "You send me down first."

Bo Yu nodded.

The two walked side by side under the umbrella.

When they arrived down the road, Chi Lu saw her car, a Maybach that was not low-key at all.

She pursed her lips and said, "I’ll get in the car first."

Bo Yu didn't give it much thought and just said, "Ten minutes."

"Oh."

Chi Lu smiled slightly and said, "Okay."

Holding an umbrella, Bo Yu stepped up the steps again.

Chi Lu sat in the passenger seat and looked at the figure for a moment while propping up her chin. She gave a quiet smile and turned her head to look over at the driver's seat.

Very good.

The car keys were left in the car.

She opened her bag. Coincidentally, Ji Qingying reminded her to bring her ID card with her when she was going out today, just in case.

When Chi Lu picked it up, she also stuffed her driver’s license that she got from the test into her bag.

She has driven no more than five times since she got her license. Every time, there was someone by her side, talking in a babbling manner.

Bo Yu actually talked so little, but it was probably for the sake of their lives; he was always cautious and careful.

Chi Lu finds him annoying all the time, and she sometimes snaps at him.

Bo Yu didn’t refute either. After she finished losing her temper and stopped the car, her ‘ordeal’ began.

Bo Yu could return all the tantrums she threw to him in other ways.

Thinking about it, Chi Lu smiled silently.

She glanced at the man who had come down from above and rolled down the window.

Bo Yu had just stepped on the last stair, and before he had time to get close to the car, he saw Chi Lu raising her eyebrows at him, full of provocation.

"Ex-boyfriend, I will borrow your car."

As soon as she heard the words, she stepped on the gas and drove away quickly.

Some water splashed up from the wet road and landed on Bo Yu.
