Heaven Destroyer

Chapter 175: Conclusion

Ayaan winced when he felt the force coming out of his sabre and his grip loosen, however, he didn't let go of his weapon. The warrior who loses his weapon is first to die. And of course, he definitely wouldn't die first.

Anyway, the bandit leader wasn't having any less trouble than him. His face turned grimmer and grimmer as he fought with Ayaan. At first he thought he could slaughter Ayaan easily, like tiger slaughter deer. However, after fighting with Ayaan he realised he wasn't a deer but a lion in the hide of deer.

The sweat rolled from both of men's temples profusely. Ayaan looked grim as he tightened his grip over his sabre. The sabre mostly uses power to destroy enemies instead of techniques. That is why Ayaan liked this weapon even more because he loved to fight head on with strength.

"You are good," compliment the bandit. "Never thought someone like you exists at such an ordinary place."

"You aren't bad either," Ayaan grinned. "Though you are still going to die."

"We will see," snorted the man, though this time his voice wasn't as firm as before. He also realised that Ayaan wasn't someone he could defeat easily.

The Bandit Leader gripped his weapon and attacked furiously. However, this time his attack was a little different. A red tinge had been covering his sabre. An elemental power! Ayaan didn't hold back and used his full strength to meet the incoming attack. He was only at the Embryonic Realm, after all, while his enemy was an entire realm above him.

"Boom!"

The clamour of booming collisions once more filled the city. The bandit leader's sabre bubbled with a fire whenever he attacked with it. The fire covered the sabre eventually, and it looked as if it was made of fire, not of any metal. Ayaan felt a scorching sensation all over his body when he fought, but he couldn't use any element. The dark element won't have much effect on the man because it was day and his grasp over it wasn't strong.

It was only strong enough to kill those weak people he did in the Spiritstar City. However, he didn't have any option but to fight, fight and fight until he would defeat his enemy, or he would be killed instead.

As they fought, Ayaan started to falter and staggered back bit by bit, and it looked as if it was only the matter of time before he would defeat Ayaan. This finding excited the bandit no end. They looked pleased by the outcome, and felt proud of their boss, and puffed their chests out in arrogance and looked at the four girls mockingly.

The four ladies said nothing and focused their gaze on the fight. The bandit leader saw Ayaan staggering back, and it thrilled him. He attacked and Ayaan defended miserably, stumbling back with a grave expression. His legs winced and his wrist pained and his body filled with wounds and his clothes tattered. His boot turned into nothing, but a broken piece of leather due to fighting and blood dripped out of his them.

Ayaan grimaced in pain and fought with his weapon. Not fighting, but it looked like a struggle of the last breath. The bandit leader saw Ayaan's body filled with wounds of his attacks, and it thrilled him to no end. Nothing was better than to crush an arrogant man who looked down upon you.

However, whenever he tried to deliver a final blow, Ayaan would defend himself skillfully. No matter which angle and no matter how much power and no matter how skillfully he attacked, Ayaan parried every attack.

In the end his breath started to falter, and his expression turned grim and angry, and he attacked even more fiercely. When other bandits saw the fierce fight, their blood boiled in excitement, and they could see that their boss had an upper hand in the fight.

But as the fight proceeded further and further, something strange happened. Bandit leader's speed decreased and his blows lost their fierceness, his clothes drowned his profusing sweat and his body ached in fatigue. However, Ayaan's speed increased and his attacks became fiercer.

Everyone saw this strange occurrence and their mouths opened wide with astonishment. They thought it would be a matter of time before the bandit leader would defeat him, but now, it seemed as if he had no plan to leave this world anytime soon.

"You were preserving your strength!" shouted the bandit leader.

Ayaan grinned and revealed a bloody mouth when he saw the man's shocked face. What kind of stupid would fight with his full strength at the start of battle? Yes, he used his full strength in one or two attacks to force his enemy to use his strongest attacks. But then he stopped attacking with his full power and pretended as if he was having a hard time. Yes, he was having a hard time, but not as much as he showed on the surface.

The bandit leader saw Ayaan's grin and his heart sank. He didn't know what to do. His body ached and legs shivered and muscles twitched, and his sweat rolled on his temples. He felt weak and his eyes looked tired and his face looked old.

Ayaan wasted little time and gripped the hilt of his sabre tightly. "Huh!" he shouted and lunged at the man in front of him. "Huh!" his opponent also shouted and tried to parry the incoming attack.

"Boom!"

A tremendous sound echoed, deafening everyone for a certain amount of time. The dust filled the place where the two warriors fought and a crater formed on the ground where they stood. Everyone gazed at the place where Ayaan and the bandit leader were standing and waited for the dust to settle down.

As the place cleared the clamour sounded and they saw a man standing tall and proud filled with blood, and another man kneeling on the ground. He looked at another man in anger and humiliation and indignant.

Ayaan wiped the blood from his lips by the back of his arm and grinned like a victor. "You lost. Are you ready to die?"

The bandit leader gritted his teeth in fury and his eyes turned red and only one thing echoed in his head. 'He have to kill this man!'

"Everyone attack!" he looked at his men and shouted. "Kill, kill everyone!"

Every left flabbergasted when they heard his shout. "Kill!'' however, after just a breath later an excited scream echoed, and then, another and another and another.

These people were bloodthirsty bandits, they loved nothing more than slaughter and chaos, though their boss lost, they didn't believe that they would lose to anyone with their numbers. However, something happed that made them realised how utterly stupid they were. Suddenly a tree, long, huge, green and full of tentacles grew out of the ground. The growth of the tree was unbelievable. And its strength was even more so.

One of the men who was about to detach the head citizen, caught by the tentacles. And his body was torn piece by piece, and the tree absorbed his blood essence, which could be used to maintain its form even longer. When such a scene took place, everyone stopped and looked at the tree in horror.

When Ayaan and the bandit leader were fighting, Leafwhisk lay down her own trap. Because only a few people were magnanimous enough to accept their defeat, and most of the people would try to bite back after being defeated. So Leafwhisk had set her trap in advance to counter the attacks of these vicious bandits.

"Run!" no one knew who shouted, but all the bandits sprinted and scattered in every direction. They couldn't be bothered with the right or wrong direction. They wanted to save their lives, who cares in which direction they were going?

Though how could it be so simple to escape a trap of Leafwhisk. No, it was impossible! The tree branches swung as the gust of wind passed and the tentacles extended in all the direction. Wherever the bandits went, the tentacles of the tree also followed them. They screamed and begged and bowed and promised to repent. But nothing worked.

Repent? Why would I care if you want to repent or not, even if you wanted, then why now? Leafwhisk thought, and the slaughter resumed. The tentacles dragged every bandit from the deepest corner they were hiding, as if they had eyes and intelligence of their own. They worked like soldiers in order and devoured the hanging bandit on the branches. Only clothes and skeletons left behind, the tree devoured everything else.

There was no exception. No matter who it was, no matter how pitiful he looked. One, two, three, all, every bandit died a horrible death, as they were devoured by the three, not even a full corpse left behind.

"No, no, why!?" shouted the bandit leader when he saw the tragic death of his subordinate. He couldn't believe that the group he struggled so much to make died and vanished from this world just like that.

However, suddenly he stopped screaming and looked at Ayaan. He started laughing like crazy. "Hahaha, you have done a most stupid thing in your life. You will, you will die for sure..."

"Whoosh!"

"Plok"

Ayaan swung his sabre and separated his head from his body and the bandit's blabbering stopped "Sure, I am waiting for the one who would kill me." He said coldly and wiped the edge of his sabre with the tip of his index finger, and the blood dripped.
