On this day, as soon as Ling Xiao awoke from his cultivation, he was told that Nangong Xuan was looking for him.

Dawn was just breaking but Longevity Palace was brightly lit, and the atmosphere was heavy.

Once he arrived at the palace, Ling Xiao noticed many familiar people.

Judging from the scene, he wondered if something regarding the sect’s survival had happened.

Nangong Qing explained, “Ling Xiao, something has happened at Longevity Sect’s spiritual stone mine!”

“Spiritual stone mine?”

With a flash of his eyes, Ling Xiao quickly understood why everyone looked so serious.

The three great sects were known to be great because they each had a spiritual stone mine that allowed the endless production of spiritual stone for their respective disciples. It could be said that the mine was Longevity Sect’s lifeline. If something happened to it, the sect would be in grave danger!

“What’s the situation?” Ling Xiao asked.

“Our spiritual stone mine is located in a ravine on Ferocious Beast Mountain Range, which is within a few hundred miles from our sect. Normally, two elders are placed at the mine to transport spiritual stone back to the sect once in three days, but nobody returned three days ago. Great Elder sighed after he explained.

Anger flashed past Nangong Xuan’s face and it was as if electricity was shooting out from his eyes.

“Sect Leader’s right! But in order to prevent Indulgence Sect from luring us out, he must keep watch at Longevity Sect! I’d like to take a look at our spiritual stone mine as well!”

Ling Xiao nodded.

“You want to go to the spiritual stone mine? No way!”

Before Nangong Xuan even responded, Nangong Qing disapproved.
