Ling Xiao had killed Lin Haoyu under the public gaze. This offense was supported by irrefutable evidence as numerous disciples were able to testify for that.

Lin Shan thought that as long as he could prove this particular charge then Ling Xiao was sure to be executed.

Anxiety caught on to Nangong Qing and he began to worry.

Although he could absolve the offender from the other offenses, there was no way anyone could exonerate Ling Xiao from this particular crime. Lin Haoyu had certainly died at the hands of Ling Xiao.

Nangong Xuan and the Great Elder exchanged concerned looks.

Right at that moment, two young figures entered Longevity Palace.

One of them was tall and sturdy with vigorous life force like that of a titan’s.

Were those two not the followers of Lin Haoyu? Besides, they were both defeated at the hands of Ling Xiao, so why would they testify in his favor?

On the other hand, the sullen look on Lin Shan’s face turned uglier as the rage in his eyes looked as if they were about to overflow. The murderous intent felt so real, so substantial.

As he released an incredibly violent manner, Lin Shan glared at Ling Xiao. “You killed Haoyu! You’re guilty if I say you are, and you deserve to die if I say you do!”

Everyone was utterly stunned. Was Lin Shan going to end this once and for all?

Ling Xiao smiled coldly. “Indeed, like grandfather like grandson. Abusing power for personal revenge and destroying the ancestors’ heritage, how could an old beast like you deserve to be Longevity Sect’s Grand Supreme Elder? I’m going to stay right here and I’d like to see what you’re capable of!”
