Conqueror

Chapter 105

After two days of traveling, at last, they finally arrive at the village. They took long to arrive, because of the Harpies. Furthermore, the beasts that attack them on their way.

Fendrel ordered Cobz to imprisoned the harpies in the prison he built. The prison was big enough to accommodate 150 people. After all, only 120 harpies survived from that battle.

After all that, Fendrel proceeds to his house. Shortly after, he arrived at the house. The usual Purd and Glecs that were always guarding the front of the house were not there. Instead, he saw Shia and Tsai waiting for him to greet him.

"Welcome back, Your Majesty." The two bow at Fendrel to pay respect.

"En..." He nodded, then get inside. The two also followed.

"Your Majesty, the water at the bathroom was already prepared, and while Your Majesty is in the bathroom. We will go and tell the chefs to prepare some food for Your Majesty." Shia said.

"Ok then, thank you." Fendrel smiled at them.

"It's our duty to serve Your Majesty." Shia said, smiling back.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Tsai said lowly while looking down for some reason.

After all that, he then goes to the bathroom. He was naturally happy that the two demi-human were now better and not the dull and lifeless when they first saw them. Of course, it's all thanks to Lavender, who was always taking care of the two.

Speaking of Lavender, he can't help but think about his subordinate's mission. Specifically, after his encounter with the Harpies. He doesn't have any means to contact his subordinates, so he doesn't know what was happening on their side.

After he's done bathing, Fendrel proceeds to the dining area. There he saw a lot of food, all of it are meat. There's no rice, he still doesn't know how to cultivate. Furthermore, this place is not good for cultivating rice, so he was helpless. Nonetheless, all the food was still good. Moreover, he also saw the two demi-bunnies at the corner waiting for him.

After eating, he exited the house and go to school, he wants to visit Gioz. He didn't participate in the mission. He was not strong enough, so Fendrel also didn't let him.

After he approved the runemaker class, Gioz devoted himself to it, and rarely go out to kill some beasts. Fendrel doesn't mind at all, he has a lot of fighters, so Gioz pursuing another profession was a good thing for him and his village. The truth was after he learned about the runemaker, he wanted Gioz to focus on becoming a runemaker. However, he didn't tell him.

If he tells him about it, Gioz would probably pursue becoming a runemaker even if he wants to become a spearmaster. So, he didn't spoke a single word to him. Alas, Gioz chooses to pursue becoming a runemaker, so he was naturally happy about it.

Right now, he was not lacking a fighter to protect his village. But a subordinate that can help his territory grow.

It didn't take long for him to arrive, there were some guards occasionally patrolling this area. The guards that saw would stop to pay respect to him.

He then goes inside, as soon as he entered he saw a woman goblin in the hallway that was about to enter a classroom where possibly she was teaching.

She stopped, she looked at Fendrel as though she saw a ghost. Rubbed her eyes, then looked again, confirming that she was not dreaming. Shortly after, the goblin hurriedly runs towards Fendrel. Although Fendrel's face remained calm, he was amused inside.

"Greetings!! Your Majesty!!" She greeted Fendrel.

"En... Lower your voice, if the children know I am here, this place would become chaotic..." Fendrel said with a smile, to make her less nervous. Because right now, her legs look like it was about to give up. He continued. "Continue on your duty, I'm just here to see Gioz."

"Yes, Your Majesty." The goblin bows first, before she left.
