Celestial Peak

Chapter 591: Ancestral Realm

The peak of power was known as God's Domain. It entraps the Abyss to keep death to a minimum by isolating the strongest in one place.

That method was achieved so that the strongest could save their comrades. But, that had long been abandoned.

The formation of qi that keeps everyone inside was no longer needed.

A step forward was needed.

So, at that moment, Chang Ping felt freedom from her wings. She abandoned the requirement of a God's domain and allowed her power to come out without any formation.

But, without any formation, the power of the domain could not be manifested. The Formation was not only there to keep the enemy inside but also to help in the manifestation of their souls into reality itself.

Chang Ping abandoned the notion. She circulated her qi and allowed it to enter her body. The basis of cultivation was to internalize qi to pursue eternity.

But, cultivators have long abandoned self perfection in order to move faster in the ranks of cultivation. The Gods have reached a realm that they felt satisfied with and now Chang Ping could feel that there was a wall before her.

This was the unknown realm of Ancestors that had been arbitrarily claimed but yet obtained. However, for the first time ever an enlightenment came to break through the limits that had remained stagnant for thousands of years.

The soul that they have created within their bodies. The essence of Nirvana had never been used… Chang Ping tracked it down and connected it to her Emperor Mandate.

This Emperor Mandate was in the form of a Red Moon. It was bleeding and beating like a heart. Constantly pumping life with every passage of time. It was alive as long as Chang Ping was alive. But it could no longer grow.

This Mandate allowed her to control Law and form the domain. This Manda had the information of her soul, this was the truest form of Peak Cultivation. This was the Core of the realm of the Gods.

But, Chang Ping's qi had already touched the realm beyond that. It was unofficially called the Ancestor's Realm and now. The realm that no one knew how to tap into, Chang Ping could feel it. It was so simple yet so dangerous and without any hesitation, to face what had become of her master's daughter, Chang Ping crossed the line between realms.

Chang Ping, destroyed her Emperor Mandate.

She started climbing the insurmountable wall of cultivation.

[It hurts… so much.]

Chang Ping could feel it. Reality itself was being rewritten. The foundation of her mind crumbled slowly peeling back to show what was beyond.

The Mandate Emperor lies nowhere in the body. It was on the entry of the soul, the heart. With a stab to the heart, the Red Moon exploded into a wave of blood that pumped into Chang Ping's entire body.

The wave of blood escaped her body from every orifice and opened pores. It flowed without an end so much that it seemed infinite. But it was too slow.

The blood was flowing out from the Blood Moon so quickly that it filled her to the brim. So, Chang Ping clawed her body.

From her eyes down to her neck and eventually her body. Eventually, she concluded that a faster way to let out the blood existed. Chang Ping

Her entire body exploded in a fountain of blood. Every open pore in her body was flowing with blood, forming a puddle underneath her feet.

Seemingly endless blood was excreted without discretion.

In the pain she experienced, Chang Ping felt another. A kind of sensation that had been the itching notion at the back of her mind.

It started to change. The sensation was becoming clearer as Chang Ping climbed closer to the peak of the wall.

[This… feels so right.]

Cultivators have tried to emulate this, creating Dantians to emulate a light that couldn't be extinguished. Nirvanic Nucleus that copied the idea of resurrection, and even the Mandate that brings them closer to the universe by internalizing law and then manifesting their essence by painting the Universe with their Domains. They emulated the Deities by copying their existence, even the beasts' soul essence by taking their cores to empower themselves.

That meant cultivators have internalized themselves.

They have been caring for their truth all their lives.

They have been nurturing the next step even without them realizing.

It was waiting to be cracked for the right time. For the neck to be pierced.

Finally, it was time.

Chang Ping reached out and grabbed hold of the ledge of the wall. She pulled herself up at the limitations of a cultivator.

She peeked beyond and saw the foggy reality awaiting her pathless endeavor and without a moment's hesitation she called upon her blade and cleaved the wall and opened the path for her future.

Chang Ping stopped summoning blood. And as she opened her eyes she had reached the next stage of cultivation.

Qinyang saw this and thought the "Revenant" committed suicide. But the blood started to continue flowing and in just a few seconds, the entire canyon she created became a blood lake.

Qinyang escaped the blood by flying up. She was confused. At first she believed the "Revenant" had committed suicide. But, she was wrong.

It had decided to take another step.

[When Revenants die, they leave behind something similar to Primordial Essence. When any of the Origin Race dies, according to Aunty Phena, they leave behind the Primordial Essence that would return to the Universe. The Origin Race are true Immortals because they are closely related to the Universe's creation. As long as Father doesn't extinguish their light, they will live a perpetual existence. Revenants leave behind a faux Primordial Essence and grow stronger by cannibalizing each other… it's like they are emulating the Deities who grow stronger by eating just like Mother reclaimed her powers by eating… and now, this one is reaching out. No, it's materializing its truth.]

Qinyang sneered.

[Once again, an imitation.]

Now, it was trying to copy Wang Ling and Bai Xue. How they tampered with reality and affected the truth of the world by commanding qi to become their own.

"How cheap."

Qinyang commented as she faced the figure standing on top of the blood lake. Its body was flowing red blood.

It was humanoid, the exact same size as the one she faced before. But different in composition after abandoning its mortal coil.

Qinyang raised her sword about to slay the bastard posing as the truth of the world..

"I will extinguish you. The blasphemous creature that bastardized the existence of my parents."

Qinyang moved her hand down… and then stopped by the bloody figure who suddenly appeared right in front of her to hold her hand mid-movement.

It looked at her in the eyes.

"I have no idea how strong this is… but if it is you, then survival is possible."

Chang Ping's left hand approached Qinyang's stomach.

It felt like an eternity… but, Qinyang could not even react.

Tap….

Her fist touched Qinyang's body.

BOOM!

Qinyang was sent flying hundreds of kilometers away.

Chang Ping lifted her foot and the blood followed and as she took a step forward, the lake of blood followed as a massive tsunami.

This was the true Ancestral Realm.
