Test Summoning: Apocalypse

Oliver Stewart always considered himself a simple man. A 32-year-old professor of Optics at a major university. A hunter. A fisherman. A gator wrestler. He enjoys cold beer and hanging out with friends when he isn't lecturing or researching at the lab. Frankly, he's a well-educated Florida Man. At least, until he suddenly found himself transported into a strange fantasy world with five teens from all around Earth. Finding himself a new resident of the Kingdom of Vialina in a world of beast people where he and the other five are the only Humans around, Oliver learns a terrible truth. The summoning? It was a test. The king found an old scroll in the archives with detailed instructions to summon heroes if ever the world were in danger. Unwilling to risk an unknown spell, the king decided to test it to see if it worked. It did. To make matters worse? There really was an apocalypse coming and Oliver only had three months to stop it. Worst of all? Oliver was stuck in a time loop. He had lived the same three months thousands of times and still had no clue how to stop the end of the world.
