Nebula's Premise

Charley just wants to get through her day, get home, and get some hugs from Gran. Charlotte “Charley” Willoughby is the only breadwinner for her family. She’s made herself useful helping her company retrieve Artifacts from the Rifts: rough tears in the fabric of reality that appear randomly. Her boss does all the hard work, and her job is safe enough, even if it can be somewhat exciting time to time. The Artifacts they find are oddly out of place - she doesn't recognize the writing on them, and they evoke places and cultures she's unfamiliar with. When she finds a feather Artifact that really shouldn't be there, all that changes. Strange dreams, lost history, and unexpected guests tear a Rift of their own into her day-to-day, tossing her into the middle of everything. Charley doesn't want to be special, she just wants to survive. (And get those hugs.)
