Fourteen year old band student Ashley Davis is about to start high school, and finds herself wallowing in previous memories of rejection and betrayal. With nobody to confide in, she starts a journal, only to accidentally stumble upon this strange realm and awake a power unlike anything she had imagined. But power attracts enemies, and she and her new friends will soon find themselves facing off against the not only the worst of humanity, but sinister beings of an otherwordly nature.
