The Legend of Min Hong

Chapter 578: Clan Leader!?

'That mysterious expert really did many to this palace unh…'

What Min Hong and the Princess could see was a massive throne room which was about 30 meters in depth and width with a ceiling that stood about 15 meters off the ground; decorated with numerous fist-sized glowing gems which provided light for this throne room…

The princess then looked to the floor and was stunned to realize that it was made out of reflective jade where she could see not only herself, but the several other sculptures that were etched to the ceiling of the throne room, clearly…

Then after waling about 5 meters into this massive throne room which had pillars that would take three of the princess with their hands joined to successfully hug, she saw rows of tall seats on either sides, numbering about 20 in total with 10 on each sides, all leading to a flight of gold and diamond encrusted stairs…

Then at the top of these stairs was a massive throne that was almost the size of a king sized bed…

It was entirely made out of diamond, and was screaming not only grandeur, but power, luxury and regality…

'Hmm… This throne hall alone would take our clan at least three days to complete; and that is after dispatching every single working hands we can muster!'

The Princess thought to herself in wonder as Min Hong walked up to her and held her by the waist;

"Do you like it?" He asked with a slight smile;

"Hmm…" The Princess nodded;

"Now you have a home truly befitting of your status…"

"Which is?"

"The wife of a Clan Leader…" Min Hong responded as if it was something that was already done and dusted;

"Clan Leader!?" The Princess chuckled cutely;

"Doesn't a Clan have to possess at least a population of a hundred thousand people; as well as an army that is at least 10,000 man strong?" She asked smilingly…

"Don't worry, it is only a matter of time before this place would become filled up and bustling with people and experts of different and diverse cultures…"

Min Hong smiled whilst the princess simply nodded her head whilst her cheeks became slightly rosy; She would be a hideous liar if she claimed that the title Min Hong just gave her didn't appeal to her inner lady…

Min Hong gently stretched his hands towards her, and she took it, both of them behaving like heirs to two different Empires about to be merged in wedlock, as he led her to the back of the throne where they saw a flight of stairs that wound up into the upper level of the palace…

Ascending the winding flight of stairs, they arrived at the second floor which was plain and flat, but had a square shaped stage in the middle…

There were four rooms each on all sides of this square shaped stage, and from what the Princess could see within the room closest to her; she could tell that they were dorms that belonged to experts who would serve as guards to the main residents of the palace…

Each of these dorms could contain 5 experts and looked like a self-contain environment with each having its own bath and restroom…

Then at the corner where these dorms met were flight of stairs that led upwards, and by taking the one nearest to them, they arrived at the next floor which the Princess could tell at first glance belonged to the maids and servants, and was an exact replica of the floor below…

"Alright, so we have a massive throne hall, and then the guard's floor, and then the maids' floor…"

The Princess muttered before grabbing Min Hong's hands this time, as she led him through the flight of stairs to the fourth floor which she could instantly tell from first glance belongs to people with the status of the Palace Lord's wives and children; and there were four of them;

"But if this place belongs to your wives, then what about you?"

The Princess asked as Min Hong simply pointed to the spiral stairs that was bang at the center of the entire palace, before shrugging his shoulders like he had no clue as well…

The Princess then jabbed him on the arm, thinking he was trying to be mysterious and wanting her to figure it out herself, but unbeknownst to her, this was also Min Hong's first time within the palace…

They took this central flight of stairs and ascended to the final floor which happened to be a single massive chamber;

"Whoa!"

The Princess was stunned by what she was seeing, as she moved around the area, exploring every inch of the chamber…

The first thing she noticed was that, there were windows on every side of this chamber and they were all having pitch black silk curtains that allow no intrusion of light whatsoever…

From each window, she could see everything going on from all sides of the city, and just outside the window was a massive balcony where one could rest or sit whilst overlooking the entire city, because it was located at the tallest point of the city with only the main city wall standing at its equal height…

She stepped into this balcony and could see five mansions in the distance with four of them covered in massive dome shaped barriers, and just as they were about to turn in, they saw Gong Yi, Tong Tian and Xiao Gui step out into the balconies of their mansion;

But because Min Hong and the Princess were three floors higher than their position, the Gong Yi trio couldn't see them, and it seemed like they were busy and engrossed in inspecting their new homes…

The Princess turned around and closed the window which led to the balcony before going towards the next window where she saw another five mansions which had four of them covered in dome shaped barrier and could tell that it belonged to Yu Ming, Mao My, Gu Ming and Elder Fu…

After relishing in the breathtaking sight, she then returned her focus into the chamber itself which was very simple and humble, sporting only a massive futon for meditating on the first side; a massive bed with veiling curtains all over it to the right, a mini library to the left and finally a bath and closet opposite her current direction…

She walked towards the bath and slid the door completely open, and that was when she saw where the luxury was hidden;

"A golden bathtub with silk pillows, and a massive 10 feet tall and 3 feet wide mirror with golden frames; hmmm, luxurious…"

The Princess then scooted towards the bed area where she found a bed that was at least 30 feet in size, laid with red silk sheets which had golden trims and five cushiony pillows;

"Hmph! What was the person who built this chamber thinking; creating such a massive bed?"

"Moreover, why the need for this blinders; are you going to be hiding an illicit affair?" She snorted teasingly…
